Chapter 13- Meeting my ex's gf sucks hard.

Today i decided to show James and Vanessa the Mall. James was driving my car. He kept his attention on me.

"So why isn't Rodrick coming?" he asked turning down the main road.

"He had to fix up his truck but i honostly don't mind i want to spend time with my....friend" i chuckled.

"Well then good" he smiled my way at the light.

"Yep" he pulled into the parking lot.

"So Kiona tell me why did you move here again?" Vanessa asked in a Bitchy tone.

"Vanessa really?" James said looking at her in the rear view mirorr. Yep! He made that hoe sit in the back.

"Just wondering" she mumble. We pulled into a spot and got out. I shut my car door and looked up. I saw Vanessa peck James on the lips. They started holding hands i felt like such a third wheel. I walked on the other side of James. He looked at me and i met his gaze. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder letting go of Vanessa's hand.

"Im spending time with you too you know?" i smiled and wrapped my arm around his back. We walked like that for a while. We talked about alot of things from school to the twins to eachother. We laughed and messed around just like old times. Everynow and then i could'nt keep myself from starring at him.

"James im tired." Vanessa whined grabbing his arm.

"Alright we'll take a rest" he sighed.

"I want to go back to the house its already 5" she looked up in his eyes beggingly. I rolled my eye's. "Please?"

"Uh Ki?" he looked at me.

"I don't mind." i smiled and we walked back to the car. I opened the passenger seat door and Vanessa slipped in.

"Thanks" she smiled and shut the door. I got in the back and James looked at me confused. I turned the other way and watched the people and the stores pass by. He stopped at a light and i sighed when Vanessa broke the perfectly good silence. "James you know i think we should cut the trip in half and spend the rest of the month at my dad's beach house in Miami."

"Uh i dont know i want to spend this month with Kiona and the twins" he sighed.

"Then why am i here?"

"Uh you begged me to go" he chuckled. She crossed her arms and looked out the window. when we arrived at my place i opened the door and walked towards the front. James handed me my keys and i walked inside. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. I took a big gulp and sighed. I walked to the Twins' room and they were'nt there. I walked to my parents room and seen them gone too. I grabbed my cell and called them.

"Hello?" my mother answered.

"Where are the twins?"

"Dont worry me and your father went out to the park and now we are at an ice-cream parlor" she said in a calm-down-please- tone.

"Okay" i sighed. "Bye" i hung up. I walked into the living room and Vanessa was making out With James. He immediatly pushed her off.

"Are you okay V?" he stood up and turned towards me. I raised an eyebrow and he chuckled.

"Want a plum?" i asked him walking to the kitchen and taking the plums from the fridge. He nodded his head and i tossed him one.

"So..you and Rodrick huh?" he bit into the plum.

"You and Vanessa...huh?" i chuckled.

"Yes and no...."

"And should i ask?"
