About 6 months later, since I have last seen Zak and his crew, I got an surprise phone call on my cell phone. I didn't recognized the number, because I don't know who is calling me. I, then, got a voice mail. "Probably a wrong number or some stupid ad shit", as I said when I was typing my pass code. To my surprise, it was Zak! "Hi Marie. This is Zak Bagans calling you to see how are you doing and.... I have something wonderful to tell you. Please call me with this number. Looking forward to hear from you again, Marie". I let out a scream with excitement! "OH MY GOD! I can't believe he called me on my phone!", as my hands started to shake. What shall I say to him and what does he want to tell me?", as my mind was wondering.
I let out a big breath, "Okay... Just calm down Marie and see what Zak wants". My hands were shaking as I hit 'Call Back' number. Couple rings went by and Zak Answered, "Hello". "Hi Zak, this is Marie. I got your message and calling you back", as I sounded nervous on the phone. "Well, hello Marie! How are you?" "I'm doing good, Zak. How are you and Gracie doing?", I said. "Gracie and I are doing just fine. Wow! It's been what, uh, 6 months since I saw you at the hotel for your surprise." "Yeah, it sure has. Man! Time sure does fly so fast, doesn't it, Zak?" "Yeah, it can be. Um, The reason why I called you about, is that I am planning on doing a special investigation, on the Travel Channel, in Goldfield, Nevada in a couple of months, and... I was wondering if you would like to come along and join me and my guys to do a lockdown? I have had a talk with my crew a few weeks ago and they said would love for you to come, since they enjoyed having you that one evening."
I had both my hands in the air and I was doing the 'silence' scream, with excitement and a huge smile on my face, while dancing in the kitchen. "Oh my God, Zak?! Are you kidding me?! I would LOVE to do a lockdown with you guys! But let me talk to my kids and my husband and see what they think. I know my kids would definitely say yes, but as for my husband. Well...." as I sighed in disappointment. "He thinks it's all made up and I know he doesn't trust me going over there alone. Four guys and one lady is not what he has in mind for adventuring ghost. I just have a feeling that I won't be able to go, because of all of the bullshit he's thinking. I'll tell you what. Let me talk to them tonight, during dinner, see what they say, and I will give you the answer later tonight. Sounds good to you, Zak?" "Sounds good to me, Marie. About roughly what time you calling me back, in my time, Marie?" "I would say about 6 o'clock. Is that okay, with you?" "Yup. I will have my phone with me and will wait for your call.", Zak said. "Okay, sounds good to me.", I said, happily. "Hey Zak". "Yes Marie?" "I want to thank you for calling me. It was a real surprise for me. Thanks, Zak", as I was smiling brightly.
