As my family is munching away the amazing dinner I made, I started saying the news that I wanted them to hear. "Well, I got a surprised phone call on my cell earlier today", as I sounded a bit nervous. "Who? Your mother?", as Ray said it as a joke. "No, Ray............. Zak Bagans". Both my girls got very excited to hear to whom I got the call from and stopped eating their dinner. "REALLY!! What did Zak called you about?", as Kathy sounded very eager to hear what Zak spooked to me about.
"Zak called me and asked me if I can go to a lockdown with him and his 3 crew members in couple of months in Goldfield, Nevada. I told him yes, but I need an answer from all of you to see if I am allowed to go." My girls were delighted to hear that Zak picked me to do a lockdown with them and immediately I got their "Yes" from them. "OOOOOHHH! This is gonna be so freakin awesome that you get to do a lockdown with Zak Bagans!", as Kathy sounded so thrilled in her voice. "Did Zak tell you what ya gonna do when you go for your lockdown?", as Rose questioned me. "No, Rose. He hasn't said anything about that, yet. Probably will tell me, in details, is to where he wants me to be to help wake up the spirits, when I go there...... IF I am allowed to go.", as I turned and look at Ray during my last sentence.
"John.... Would you like to see mom on the Ghost Adventures show?", as I know he would said yes, because he likes watching Ghost Adventures at times. "Yeah mommy. That would be so cool to go there and walk around with Zak.", as he spoke happily. "For starters... What the heck is a lockdown?", Ray was questioning me to what it is. Awe shit! Here we go... Let the shit hit the fan. "A lockdown, Ray, is when guys get locked in a building, for the entire night, and then they go wondering around in pitch black darkness with cameras and equipment to help capture an orb, a knocking sound, maybe a person talking, stuff being moved by itself without no one touching.", as I was explaining, in detail to what it is. "You sure it isn't something else and he's not telling you?", Ray sounded curious that the stuff I said is not true.
"Ray", as I knew his answer is already a "NO" the way he is saying it to me. "I have watched Ghost Adventures for almost 2 years and I have seen him bringing females in, but only for a couple of hours. But Zak and his crew would never touch a female improperly. Besides, it is JUST a lockdown, not a sex thing', as I started to get angry and raising my voice a little. Kids were being quiet and knew that there is gonna be a fight between their parents. "So.... Can I go within a few months, Ray?", as I sound a bit afraid and nervous.
"Let me think about it for a while and see.", Ray answered. "About how soon will I get an answer, because Zak is expecting my call about 9 o'clock?", as I was letting him know. "Can't he just wait a while and just let me think for a bit, instead of getting an answer tonight?" I sigh loudly... "Zak needs his answer now, so he can go forward with his plans and get it set up and prepared ahead of time", I grew frustrated with his answer. I feel like I'm about to lose this fight, or just give up all together.
