Scarlett's pv-
I wake up with smallish arms surrounding my warm body from the other persons body heat. I roll around to a face full of flowery sense, that's not what jack smells like its a girl smell, why am in bed with a girl? I panic and sit up confused at why I'm in bed with someone else. then everything comes back I moved in with Sarah for a couple of months till I'm ready to face jack the one who doesn't care then it comes back all my emotions for him but its shattered by the memory of him with kissing Madison.
"hey, ready to make pancakes this morning? Btw your so comfy to sleep with" a sleepy best friend asks me "yeah sure" I sigh wishing Instead it was me and jack together.
I get up walking towards my case to grab my clothes: a pair of baby blue High Waisted Shorts, a long-sleeved white tank top along with my underwear. As I get out of the shower my phone starts to ring i pick it up not noticing the caller ID,
"Jack, I really don't want to talk to you please stop phoning I've had enough I've moved out here to forget about you and I can't with you phoning all the time" at the other end is a awkward silence till he decides to talk "actually Scarlett its sam" he tells me sounding embarrassed " I told you last night that I missed you. well, I made it my deal to get a ticket to come and see you spend time with you again I don't wanna loose a friend like you. Jacks a dick but that can't stop us from seeing each other.." What's he trying to tell me I know Jack was a dick but Sam knows I moved to forget him so why bring him up again? "Sam.. What are you saying?" I question him "well you see.., I'm coming to see you, my parents don't live that far from your friend plus you can spend time with me I promise I'll make you forget about jack." I can hear the smirk plastered on his face while saying this "I've brought my ticket I'm packed ready for my über to pick me, so meet me at the airport in 2 hours please. I'll take you home to my parents if you don't like it you can go back just try for me?" "I guess.. I could but no funny business sam, see you then" I tell him before hanging up.
The smell of pancakes grab my attention back, I walk into the kitchen to see a smiley Sarah sitting at the breakfast bar, " gonna tell me why your all smiles and looking cute?" she asks me while shovelling bits of pancake in her mouth "Sam is coming to get me.. I'm gonna spend some time at his parents get my mind off things. Your a great friend but your so laid back and he's always on my mind I need to switch it up" I tell her grabbing myself a spoon to eat my cereal "but if he does anything or even try's I'm coming back if it's okay with you?" I hear a mumbled "yes". before I move to the sofa watching telly.
1 hour later
I drag my case out to the car I've been renting for a couple of weeks, before then making my way back inside to tell Sarah bye, we stand there in the lobby crying like idiots getting the attention we don't want. I'm still hungry and I'm sure if Sam will be he probably just wants to go him so I drive to grab some food before I meet sammy, I walk around some nearby shops before noticing the time. putting the bags and bags of clothes I've just brought in the back I drive to go and meet sammy.
Hoping that maybe It might be fun.
