I've had many calls from the school asking where I have been recently. Today I will go to school, so I seem less suspicious. I don't think I can get any more suspicious, a new boy arrives to school dressed in a tuxedo, accompanied by a personal driver, in a limousine, now I haven't been coming after my second week of starting school for the first time. How can someone think I am human.
School is boring, I only go for Lumiere's sake. I have Mrs Trude in the morning, which I'm more than happy to go to. Mrs Trude is the loveliest teacher in the school, she has delightful manners and I always manage to squeeze a good grade out of her favourite pen. My least favourite teacher is my history teacher, she drabs on and on, we never get any work done. I really enjoy Mrs Trude's company, but my most favourite class is geography, the teacher is a nice guy, a little strict, but the reason why I love his class so much is because he sat me next to Belle. She is learning to get used to me, even if she still thinks I have a sadistic mind, which of course isn't true. I just need her to understand that I love her, she will then realise that all I want is her love in exchange I will return her father. I have started to wonder if I should have just asked someone for advise, rather than now I would need to ask for something more than advise, more like help.
"It's the lovely Alec Beast. We haven't seen you in a long time, it's good to see you back" She is so pleasant. I am thrilled to have such an entrance to class, but Belle isn't. Her looks make her seem peaceful, but her eyes show she is emotionally unstable. What have I let her become. Throughout class I notice she is teary-eyed, someone else notices it too, Gaston. I have caught him gawking at him numerous times today. He has also noticed a transition in her usual chirpy identity. I can't allow him to exploit our secret if her finds out.
The bell for lunch unexpectedly rings at 10:25, we don't usually have lunch until 1:30, even the teacher is confused until she realises the drill.
"Everyone form a line and head out the nearest fire exit. Join everyone else on the court. This is a fire drill, do not panic." And everyone panics, typical. We manage to form a sort of line, the girls would prefer to stand next to each other, not behind one another. We squeeze through the door and find our way to the courts.
"That was dumb, someone could of at least told us what was going on." One of Gaston's senseless friends decides to think out loud, which is rare seeing as they don't think at all. Gaston laughs. So do his minions.
"Well this is a good time to chat, free time!" He cheers. I roll my eyes, listening to their foolish conversations about girls, until Gaston mentions Belle. I look up, Belle is at the back of the line, I step back so Gaston's gang doesn't think I'm listening in. "So I followed her home yesterday, I was like, wow she has a huge house, that's when I realise it's the new boy, Alec's house. Belle has seemed really down lately, so I reckon Alec is keeping her as his slave." Jerk spreading rumors, typical.
"Why are you so obsessed with her, man. She is like a mega nerd." One tall muscular jock speaks up.
"She is beautiful, and if she is nice. I don't want her stuck with that that sick freak Alec." He is right, she is beautiful, she is nice. But he is spreading false information about me, it's almost true, I have to keep her quiet.
"That's what you said about Laura, when you dated her. You shouldn't need Belle, you need us." One blonde girl pokes her nose in his business. Her name is Paula, she and her two best friends seem to always tag along behind Gaston. Laura, Paula and Claudia, If Gaston's taste in woman is for them to be smart, I'm not surprised he doesn't choose any of these girls.
The teacher tells us to make our way back to class. On the way, I thump into Gaston, he growls at me like a dog.
"Back off, freak." He seems bigger than me but in reality I seem to tower over him. I haven't been this close to him before, I always thought I would look like a Shrew next to him, a Shrew is a tiny bat, the smallest Mammal in the world. He is muscular than me, but I am larger, living up to my last name, like a beast.
"What? I couldn't here you from up here, could you stand on a chair to reach me." I smirk. The first word out of my mouth to him is a sly comeback, and I am proud of my self for standing up to him.
