I helped Belle at lunch, Gaston was trying to win her heart, but I knew she couldn't be bothered to be harassed by him at that moment so I stepped in. I actually think she enjoyed it because she smiled for the first time in two weeks.

I checked her blog after school, she hasn't had much time to post so I'm not surprised there is no new content, but she has replied to her followers after they consistently asked her when she will update, she told them she has had a boring two weeks (all lies) and she will post soon as she is going on a mystery trip (more lies). Maybe she want's a mystery trip... When she finally realises what I want, I wonder if she'd like to go on a mystery trip.

I hear a knock at the door, but my maid reaches it before I do.

"Are you Alec's girlfriend? It's so good that he has gone to school finally, because you have really helped him. I'm glad he didn't get a weird girlfriend, you are very pretty." My nosy maid is at it again.

"I'm flattered, and you are?" She giggles. I'm glad she doesn't deny that we are not dating.

"I'm Alec's maid, Babette." Babette laughs, "Sorry honey, Lumière,Cogsworth, Chip, Mrs. Potts and I are like family to Alec... Well Lumière was." Babette frowns.

"Hang on, who are these people?" Belle appeared interested in my family.

"Cogs is Alec's driver, Mrs. Potts is Alec's cook, and Chip is her son, who lives with us all here, in the other guest rooms." All true, I found it a little embarrassing that these people are my family, I just called them my cook, my maid, my driver. Chip is the brother I never had, but lately he has been at boarding school.

"You are here." I smile at Belle, and gesture for Babette to leave. Belle still looks confused after Babette explaining my family.

"Are you okay?" She nods.

"Can we go to the library?" She asks, She usually demands to see her father first but today is peculiar, Belle is in a perky mood. We walk through the large doors and into my library, books tower over us, as far as the eye can see is books.

"Do you need help, do you want me to help you figure out why you are doing this, is that what you want? If it was, all you needed to do was ask. Not kidnap my father, that is just... just not normal." Her voice is shaky, and she starts to cry. grasp her face in my hands and wipe her tears away with my thumb.

"I'm sorry." I whisper. She leans her head into my neck. Her tears dampen my collar.

"You don't need to have anything wrong with you." She hugs me tight. I brush her stray brown curls behind her ears. Belle tilts her head and her lips collide with mine. A wish come true.

Babette walks in, with Maurice.

"Why on earth was this man locked in your basement? Young man! You have a lot of explaining to do." Babette raises her eyebrows. Maurice chuckles.

"Long story, Ma'am." Maurice winks at her. The strangest thing is that Maurice was fine with the whole kidnapping thing.

"Got yourself a man there, Belle. A strange one indeed." He is a kind hearted man. Belle's brown eyes gaze into mine. Suddenly there is a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." Babette still looks confused. Before she can reach the door Gaston and his gang storm in.

"What are you doing?" I growl at him.

"What about you? What on earth are you doing with Belle?" He growls back. Before I can reply I am thudded hard in the nose by Gastons fist. Once again, I am unconscious on Belle's lap.
