I was hurt, and my cheek stung not just from his action, but by his choice of action. I didn't understand, I was merely asking why he needed a doctors appointment, and while grabbing his car, he couldn't stop by my door, or pop in to say hi.
I could barely function what happened, but I wanted to move past it, because I couldn't let one thing ruin my entire life for good. That was too dramatic.
I was going to make waffles every morning with a smile on my face, and a bright attitude. i was going to forget Jack, and ignore him for the rest of spring break, and during school I would try even harder to avoid him in the halls.
I wasn't even going to say his name for obvious reasons. I'm going to move in a different direction, I can have fun without him, and that's a promise I intend on keeping.
