I'm running late on my first day of University, fantastic. I was maneuvering myself as quickly as I could through the traffic of people. I halted in front of a small coffee shop, I mean..If I'm going to be late, might as well get myself a caffeine boost.

I walked inside the shop and I heard the little "ding!" as the door opened and closed.

I walked up to the counter and greeted the barista, "Hey! Can I get a Chai Tea Latte and could you make that as fast as you can?"

"Yeah, absolutely. In a rush?"

"Yeah I most certainly am." The barista chuckled as I payed him for my drink and I waited patiently by the counter. Although I was thinking of ways to enter my first class without creating a big scene. I was lost in my thoughts until I saw a hint of sparkle out of the corner of my eye.

I looked to the direction of where the glitter was coming from and was surprised to see a guy wearing sparkly boots. I give him props though, he's rocking them.

"Hey nice boots."

"Thanks, I like to make a statement with what I wear."

"And what's that statement exactly, if you don't mind me asking."

"I haven't figured that out yet."

"I must say, that's quite intriguing. I'm Olivia."

"Nice to meet you Olivia. I'm feeling a tad intimidated by you but I'm Harry."

"Intimidated?"

"Yeah, intimidated, like you don't see many girls just approach guys like that. But I like it."

This was a sort of awkward yet flattering situation, before I could say anything else, I noticed my chai tea was ready and I could still possibly make it to the end of my first class.

"Well, this was an interesting conversation but I'm running horribly late so I'll see you when I see you."

I smiled at Harry and turned around heading to the door and I took a glimpse behind me to see the boy in the boots one last time before leaving.

okay hey this was a short start but hey it's something right

I'm digging the direction this could be headed so I'm hoping I don't forget about writing but this month and December are going to be super busy so i don't know, well that's it for today..
