Ciara POV
Today I had a photoshoot with Tyla and J'Shawn. I walk out the dressing room and stand next to Tyla and we start,it was for Givenchy. We take about 3 breaks and switch outfits 8 times,we were on the last break and Nicki came and brought food with her. I sat next to her and started eating the food. When we're done with the shoot,J'Shawn and Tyla follow us back to the house.
"I gotta tell you something,I don't know how you're gonna feel about this though" Nicki says
We stop at a red light and she looks over at me.
"I have another major movie roll" She says
"Ok? That's fine" I say confused
Why was that a problem?
"It's like 18 hours each day" She says
The light turns green and she turns her attention back to the road.
"Oh" I say lowly
"So you're gonna be too busy to spend any time with me and the kids?" I ask
"Kinda" She says
"Whatever" I sigh
She drives into the garage and I get out ahead of her,I walk in the house and up the steps. I go in the bedroom and put my phone on the charger,I go back downstairs and start cooking so the kids will have something to eat when they get here,they stayed at school late for their after school programs and I was going to get them soon.
"Where's my little angels?" Tyla asks
"At school,I gotta go get them in like 20 minutes" I say
"Zahir didn't take his car?" J'Shawn asks shocked
"I know,he said something about not having it after school cause the savage ass kids might steal it" Nicki says
"He really called those students savage asses?" Tyla laughs
"Hell yea" I say
When I'm done with the food I go upstairs to get my phone and I hear the door close.
"Before you caught an attitude I was gonna tell you that we start shooting in 1 month" Nicki says
"And how does that help anything?" I ask
"I know it's a lot to put on you but instead of being upset about it we need to plan out how we're gonna spend the next month" She says while holding my face
"Alright" I sigh
I try to walk away from her but she stops me.
"I wanna see that your ok with it" She says
"I am,it's just a lot" I say
"I know" She says and kisses me softly
"We're only gonna get to do something with you for an hour a day though,18 hours of shooting,at least 4 hours of sleep,then you gotta get ready and do whatever you can for the for the last hour" I mumble against her lips
"Did you really just stay grumpy after I gave you a nice kiss?" She asks while poking my cheeks
I laugh and nod my head,she smirks and playfully rolls her eyes.
"But I'll make the schedule work,ok?" She asks
"Mhmm" I say
We go back downstairs and I go to the school,when I get there I text them,telling them that I'm outside. A few minutes later they come outside and get in the car.
"How was school?" I ask
"Good,I joined the yoga club with Juju" Zahir says
"I started another art class" Onji says
"It was fine" Onara says sadly
I look at her through the mirror concerned,I'm gonna talk to her when we get home. When we get there I unlock the door and they get so excited and happy to see Tyla and J'Shawn. My mind starts to go back to Nicki,I hope this goes well.
