Wait what?! Camp Half-Blood? That's so fake. It's fantasy, it's not real. Or was it? My judgement was clouded from reality. Or the fantasy? See I'm confused!

Abhijit's mouth was wide open and I pushed his jaw back up so it didn't become a fly trap. I understood how he felt. Actually I didn't know what to feel. Was I happy? Was I upset? What was happening?

"But...but how?" Abhijit sputtered.

"Do you guys remember in fifth grade when I forced you to read the Percy Jackson series?"

"Of course! Best series ever." I exclaimed.

"Well I had hoped you guys might realize who you were a little bit earlier so that I could get you training from a young age like me." He stated.

"But I thought that once a demigod realized who they are all the monsters are attracted to them? Wouldn't we be in even more danger than we just were? " Abhijit asked.

"Yeah that's true, but I got really lonely being the youngest kid here." Nick sighed. " But I still am, being the only child of Zeus. I had hoped that you would be a son of Zeus too." head turning towards Abhijit. "But enough about me, let's go find Chiron, if you have forgotten, Chiron is a centaur just to give you a heads up"

Nick guided us around camp, through the battlefields and forests. Kids put down their weapons to wave hello or gave us a brief nod. The small gestures made me feel a bit more comfortable but I still was a bit shaken up.

There were so many questions floating around in my head. Will I even be good with a weapon? I wonder when my first mission will be! Do they serve Mexican food here? Who will be my parent? Will the people in my cabin be nice? Ew, will I end up being related to Abhijit? Or Nick?

Though the questions brought me down a little as I thought of all the possible horrible outcomes, but overall I was really excited to see who my godly parent was.

As Nick kept taking us around camp, giving a brief tour that I was not really listening too, I observed the campers. There were campers of all ages here! But nobody seemed to be younger than ten years old, or older than 18. All the campers seemed so laid back and cool like "oh hey, what's up?", "nothing just slashing a Minotaur what about you?", "I'm going to the underworld wanna come?".

I noticed a girl from my math class a while back who had mysteriously moved to Kansas. But I guess she didn't move, just her cover for being a demigod. She smiled at me and went back to descending the rock wall. Everybody  was an expert with their weapon, their hands gliding gracefully, but fiercely through the air. I got so caught up watching a girl and boy sword fight that I got left behind and was left to wonder where Nick and Abhijit were.

What was I supposed to do now? Just hang around and wait for dinner? I should be meeting Chiron right now! Ugh, stupid me. I looked around aimlessly expecting a yellow brick road to pop up and lead me to Chiron as a scarecrow, lion, and tin man accompanied me. As I visioned that weird little thought in my head something tapped my shoulder and I spun around so fast.

"AHHHH, I can't see!"

A girl with Raven black hair and a grin on her face was rubbing her eyes. I must have hair whipped her. NOW WATCH ME WHIP.

"Does your hair have long knives in it or something because that hurt!" She laughed still rubbing her left eye.

"I'm so sorry! You startled me!" I stuttered.

"Haha! No problem." The girl stated."I don't think I know you! Are you new?"

"Uh, I'm Ria. I kind of drifted away from my friend Nick and now I have no idea where I am" I rambled.

"Well here! I can take you to Chiron, they are probably there right now. I'm Emily by the way!" Emily stuck her hand out and shook my hand.

"Just don't get lost again will you?"

We had reached a place that looked like an outdoor cafeteria. There was a fire blazing in a pit surrounded by benches and one of the campers was tending to the fire. He kept looking away to talk to his friend, obviously not very concerned with his task and was only brought back to earth when sparks would come and hit his sandals.

I could see the back of a grown man with dark brown hair sitting at a table with a man in a wheelchair. The guy with dark brown hair turned around, and he had like 15 glasses of wine in front of him and another couple empty glasses discarded to the side. He grabbed another wine glass and gulped it down. As he turned around to throw away a glass, he caught sight of Emily and me.

"Oh. Hello there Ellory." The man greeted. "I see you have brought us a new trouble maker."

"First of all, my name is Emily for the hundredth time. And second, it was Nick who brought her, she just got lost."

Nick and Abhijit had just arrived and we're now standing behind me.

"Well done Rick." The man grumbled. "You brought two more trouble makers

"It's Nick!" Nick corrected.

"Ah. And what might these two campers names be?"

"I'm Ria" I exclaimed.

"I'm Abhijit."

"Welcome to camp Abby and Rita." the man was obviously very happy with screwing up our names. "I'm Dionsyus. And this is your new home."
