{Natasha's POV}
After Steve and I had gotten back 1 day later. Veterans Day actually. You would not believe how many letters Steve had gotten. So many people across the country wanted him to a guest speaker. He denied, and simply replied "I have one booked already." And the person on the phone would thank him and hang up.
I snuck up behind Steve and wrapped my arms around his pointed waist. "Happy Veterans Day, my love." I said kissing his neck. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he rested his head on that hand. "You look very nice." I said admiring his WW II Uniform. "Thank you. And you look very nice too." I was wearing a black skater dress, red slip on, red necklace, and white and blue bracelets. "Yea but not as much as you do." I said biting my lip as Steve turned around. I walked into my dance room and came out with Poppy Flowers. "Here" "Whats this?" "Oh it's a little tribute to us Avengers saying thank you." His head fell slowly onto my lips. "You know, I could say thank you to you if you'd let me in?" He said lifting his eyebrow and smirking. "Uh no. Not today. Today's every Veterans Day." He looked at me and smiled. "Even though some stuff you may say are cheesy Mat, I've become to enjoy them." I chuckled at that. "Ready?"
Steve and I drove to the States Capitol in honor of being a guest speaker. Steve was so nervous. He kept mumbling his speech making me laugh. "What?" He looked me with a face of confusion. "Oh just you." I paused. "Nervous much?" "Ye-yea." When we arrived at the Capitol we were greeted with friendly faces and poppies. "Wow Steve, these people have really went all out." "Yea. Think overpriced their hearts?" We linked arms and walked in. The presentation was starting. Our state Govenor Andrew Cuomo steeped up to the podium. "Good morning, and happy Veterans Day. Today is not a day of mourning, it's day of celebration. You shouldn't be sad, but yes it's okay to cry" we laughed and he paused. "Now I have had the honor of inviting a very special guest," he continued. "Captain Steven Rogers!" And that's when he walked up.

{Steve's POV}
After the presentation, Nat and I left to go meet up at the Avengers Tower to have lunch. "Cap." "Tony." And he saluted me. "Steve thank you for all you've done. I am proud to know you." I nodded my head. All The Avengers had thanked me, and I replied back.
When we reached the table all of my favorites were being served. Ham, Green Bean Casserole, Beer Bread, Mash Potatoes, and more. "Thank you guys, I'm so thankful." "Cap, you do know it isn't Thanksgiving?" We all laughed, "yes I know." And we carried on to our meal. My plate was wiped clean. That was the best meal ever. "Desert anyone?" Pepper said walking in with Lava Cake. "Yes I would love some!" I said, as Pepper had placed some Lava Cake down.
Lunch/Dinner was awesome. I love this team. I walked out to the balcony and Nat followed. "So do you like your day so far?" "I do." She linked her arm with mine and started to shiver. "Are you cold?" I asked and took off my jacket and gave it to her. "Thanks." She started to leave but I grabbed her arm and pulled her in for kiss. The kiss was very soft and delightful. It was very rushed, we let it continue until Nat pulled away. Her head fell on mine, and we stared at Echo other for hours it seemed. "I love you." "I love you more Nat. Forever and Always." Our lips met once more but in a different manor. Our body's were heading towards my bedroom door. We made it in and made love.
