A mile away from the school, and I have to walk. My brother refuses to take me to school in the mornings. But yet, he still laughs at me when he passes me on the road, well him and his girlfriend of course. It's not always right I shouldn't have to walk to school on cold days. I could get sick and die but, not like Tj cares, he would have a party if I went away.
When I got to school I stood at my locker and a girl came up to me and handed me an envelope. I wondered what is was. I opened it to find what was inside. A plane ticket to Ohio! That's where my mom and sister live! Whoever sent me this is amazing in my eyes. If it was a boy or girl I don't care. All I know is that they made me happy for once in my life and I could never repay them.
When I got home from school I walked into the house. Tj and his dumb girlfriend were on the couch watching a movie. I got to my room, start packing, and head out the door. Tj stands in front of the door so I can't leave. He asks me where I am going. I say" somewhere where I am wanted, because I know that I'm not wanted here." He almost pushes me out the door. He is so glad I'm gone.
