LANIA:
I was secretly dying to feel the sunlight on my skin again. I didn't let it show though, obviously Adan had been outside millions of times and I didn't want him to make any suspicions of me. Not only was I embarrassed but I didn't want to get too close to him for me only having to leave in the end to live a lonely life. If only I could convince that annoying voice in my head telling me to be closer to. I had already let that part slip last night.
As soon as I stepped outside with Adan, I sighed as the nice fresh breeze filled my nose and the warmth of the sun kissed my skin. I must be dreaming, this is too perfect to be real. But it was, and I knew that as perfect as reality was now, I had to go back to my normal, boring life.
From in front Adan twisted around giving me a soft smile, just looking at me before turning away, adjusting my carry bag over his shoulder.
I ran some to catch up to him as we trailed down the small winding path that I assumed led to the markets. We were silent for a while, which I was fine with, my mind occupied with the new, marvelous discoveries I was seeing. Occasionally I would open my mouth to ask him what certain things are, but shut it quickly remembering that I had to be careful of what I said around him.
I didn't want him knowing that I've spent my whole life inside my small cottage, without having any interaction with anyone or anything outside of it. The truth was, I didn't actually know really wether that was true, every once in a while I would get small visions,of what I've assumed to be from my past, of a small boy running and laughing.
I didn't know wether to say it was just me imagining things or that I actually did have a life before being stuck in my cottage, so I tried not to think about it at all. But every time I did, it left me with shivers of emotion I couldn't quite put my finger on.
Anyway, it wasn't like Adan would care about it, it was stupid.
Without realizing what I was doing I turned my head slightly so I could take in Adan's image. I knew that he was attractive, but walking next to him, actually looking at him, attractive seemed like an understatement.
He had long, lean muscles with a soft olive skin. I had thought before that his eyes were green but now in the light I can see that they were actually a vibrant blue colour. His hair had that soft look of it, that you just wanted to run your fingers through. I took in the toned muscles of his forearm, clutching my bindle tightly. My eyes the drifted to his lips, curved slightly in a amused smirk.
Oh no, did he see me?
I snapped my head back looking forward, blushing uncontrollably.
Adan cleared he throat."So what brings you here? Do you travel?" He asked casually.
I almost scoffed at him."Uh, not hardly." I looked at him. "What about you? Have you always lived here?"
He looked at me and I could see the uncertainty in his eyes. I hadn't thought that maybe he felt as closured about himself as what I did myself. He just didn't seem like that person. But then again I didn't know him.
After a few seconds he spoke."No. I've actually travelled quite a lot."
Excitement for him fled through me suddenly."Oh gosh, that would have been amazing!" I gasped before I realized what I was doing grabbed onto his arm. Our eyes met briefly before I dropped my hands as quickly as I had put them there."I've always wanted to travel." I said looking away feeling the burn to my cheeks again.
