The Picnic - part 2

My heart started to beat really fast and my legs started to tremble. What was going to happen to me? And then I heard the sound again coming from behind me. I didn't dare to look I just ran in the direction Tom went but I knew I would never catch up with him. He would be ages away. I just ran when all of a sudden this man ran in front of me. I was so scared. He ran really quickly and this scared me because no human could go this fast. My heart pounded faster and I started to have a mini panic attack. This man said
"Where do you think your going?" He smiled cheekily a little like Tom and opened his mouth. That was the moment I realised.........he was a vampire. He had fangs! They weren't fake they were real. Everyone will think I'm crazy! Vampires, they don't exist. Well that's what I thought until this very moment. He pulled me towards him and his strength was also supernatural. He put his face closer to mine and then sunk his teeth in to my neck. I could feel the blood coming out of my body. I screamed. Tom wouldn't be able to hear me no way! I still screamed and screamed until something or someone pushed this thing off me. I fell to the floor as I had so much blood taken. Everything was blurry but when things stared to clear up I could see. It was this vampire guy that had tried eating me alive fighting with Tom! Tom also hand fangs. Oh no! What was I going to do. Tom was a vampire. He did save me! I was about to shout Tom when everything went blurry again. Everything went black.....

"Hannah, wake up!" I felt someone rubbing my arm. I slowly opened my eye. My eye lid was really heavy. I was in Tom's bedroom. I looked it was Tom. I smiled, he was so cute. Then I had a flashback of what happened before and shot up trying to get away from him.
"It's ok babe! It's ok." He held me close and started to kiss me. I felt so uncomfortable. He was a vampire and he was kissing me. If I annoyed him I would turn from his girlfriend to his dinner. I pushed him away and ran. I ran out of the door. I ran back to my house.

I got in and shut the door and locked it.  This is going to sound silly and perfetic but I put garlic in all four corners of my house. I think it worked as well because Tom was here not long after me and he couldn't get thorough the gate. What was I going to do? He was there at school? He could kill me?

I rang Taylor and she came round immediately. Like I said we haven't been friends for long but we believed each other like we'd know each other for ever. I told her everything and she looked really worried.
"All those murders! They were done by.....vampires. Including your Tom?"
"No! Not MY Tom. I hate him! I hate him!" She gave me a hug and I began to cry.

I convinced her to sleep over. She went to tell her parents and get her sleeping things. It took her ages to come back. I walked out onto the balcony and there she was with Kate, Tom's sister. She had her vampire teeth over Taylor.
"Come down or your friend is my lunch." I ran downstairs and outside not wanting my friend to be in danger. I walked over to Kate and she let Taylor go.
"What have you done to my brother? He is in pieces because of you! What have you done?" I knew I had to tell her.
"Well I have been attacked by a vampire. I can't deal with this, I can't deal with having a boyfriend vampire. Do you ......kill people?" I asked not wanting to know the answer. She looked at me like I was an idiot
"Of course we do. We are like the evil bad ass vampires! Not the worst but we are pretty evil. We rip people to shreds, we don't care! As long as we get our food. We have killed loads of people from your school especially, they are the tastiest!" I couldn't deal with this! I grabbed Taylor by the arm and quickly went inside the gate. Kate was late with what we were going and didn't get the chance to stop us. She couldn't go past the gate because of the garlic I had put down. I didn't think garlic was going to work because that was just fiction but so was vampires, well that's what I thought.

I pulled Taylor inside my house and she looked okay. She was shocked but not hurt. What we was we going to do? As soon as we passed that gate we were in danger. We couldn't tell my mum and dad because they already thought I was weird. They would never believe vampires existed and the vampires wouldn't prove my point. The vampires seemed really secretive about what they are but I don't know why because they could kill us all easily.

We got ready for bed and then both slept in my bed because we were terrified. Of course we didn't get any sleep.
