I'm late! I was running down the school hallways trying to reach the detention room.
You might be asking your self, what a nerd like my self was doing going to detention...  I just didn't want to go home.

No,no my parents aren't mean or anything like that, there just really really like to embarrass  me, every since I came out my freshman year they go out of there way to keep me away from having any sexual experience. Just remembering the stuff they said gives me shivers...ew

" Did you know you could get gonorrhea if you sleep around a lot with out using protection." My mom innocently said while glancing at her phone

" Are you calling me a HOE, women I have you know I'm waiting for the right guy to come along.." Offended by her, I place a hand over my chest.

She just shrugged, wow why to have faith.....

" Skylar... Have you seen the pictures that show up?" Dad asked while sitting beside me

I shake my head

" Well have a look..."

BIGGEST mistake! I was tormented by the pictures I saw! Ew..ew.. Can I say ew!

Since that day they are just out of control! So I have volunteered myself to help Ms. Peterson tutor the kids in detention. Today was my first day, man if I knew how my life was going to change I would have come sooner...

I knocked on the door, I heard a low "come in."

" Skylar come in, I'm happy that you could make it! Okay, today we only have 1 person in detention and his late!!."

" Hi Ms. peterson, its okay I have all the time, who's going to be lat..."

I didn't get to finish because then and there the schools bad boy came strolling through the door looking like he owned the place.

" I'm late ... I know but it wasn't me who decide to have detention on a Friday."

His voice was rusty but trough and gentle at the same time, mmm... His hair looked like he ran his fingers through it all day, he had the right amount of freckles, his eyes... His eyes they were dark but still held a gentle look and he wore his black leather jacket with a simple white shirt and dark jeans that had a chain connecting his back pocket with front pocket. He was wearing black boots... He looked delicious !

I mentally shook my head when I saw him smirk, I knew that my face looked like an apple.

" Mm... Kelvin what am I going to do with you, your failing my class you know, so I asked Skylar if he can tutor you when you have detention. He kindly accepted isn't that right Skylar."  She look at me raising a eyebrow at me..

" y-yeah, I- she told me her detention students  had trouble with h-history, s-so I volunteered my time." I said pushing my glasses up

He looked at me and then smiled..

"Mm.. " thats all he said and walked to the back of the class and sat down.

" Well, you guys seem okay, I'm going to see.."
She rambled on walking out the door

Wait! She's living me alone with Him! I stood there after she left just frozen

" Aren't you going to tutor me, or are you just going to stand there like a statue or something?" I heard him ask behind me

I cleared my throat " Yeah, I-I am"

After an hour of tutoring I started questioning myself if he knew all the material, because he wasn't written anything down, he was just staring at me.

Before I could say anything he beat me to it

" Look, I'm not usually this bold, but I've had a crush on you since junior year, I'm taking a shot. Go on date with me tomorrow night."

I opened and closed my mouth, not sure if I was hearing correctly. " What?"

" A date with me. Tomorrow night. with me. "

" But we barley know each other--"

" We'll get to know each other on the date." He smirked  " I'll see you around today and give you all the details, all right? "

"O-okay."

He smiled, my god that simile. " Great, I'll see you, Sky."

I frowned my eyebrows. " My name is Skylar."

He grabbed my hand. " I know, but I want to call you sky.. In till I can call you my baby.."

Fuck, My heart just swoon right there and then.

I just nodded, watching as he kissed my hand and wave before he got up and left, leaving me sitting in the classroom stupidly while I tried to gather myself.

I stood on my feet but before I could make my way up the door, the door flow open

" OMG! Did the kid finally grow some balls and asked you out! I swear that kid has been crushing on you all his life! He asked me to give him detention and I couldn't so he punched the school jock on the stomach just so he can have the opportunity to ask you out! You guys make such a cute couple.. Imagine..."

Ms. Peterson just kept on rumbling on, he went through all that just to ask me out.. I didn't notice that she stopped talking just looking at me.

I blushed under her gaze

" Y-yeah he asked me out"

Just saying those words made my heart flatter. Who knew that I would someday end up falling for him.

Present

I stood by our  kitchen window over looking the beach, with a coffee on my hands just thinking back to that day. Mmm..

I felt arms rap around my waist and being pulled on to a chest. I smiled and turned around to cuddle into his chest.

He kissed my forehead.  " Hey, baby what are you thinking about."

I looked up and him and gave him a quick kiss.

" Just thinking about when you asked me out..."

He groaned while shaking his head
" I remember being so nervous, Oh god! The date was probably the cheesed date ever!"

I snaked my arms around his neck  and kissed him.
" No, it was romantic and thought full! I loved every moment of it. Especially the moment you....
