I burst through the doors of the building I call my job. Rose already standing impatiently by the door of my office her foot tapping impatiently. She's beautiful, Blonde hair and long legs. I'm the total opposite brown hair, brown eyes, and plain. I'm not ugly just average.

"Sorry." I mumble flying past her into my office to throw my things on my desk chair. "You stall?"

"Of course I did i-" she stops mid sentence her head tilting a bit, examining my face. Her blue piercing eyes narrowed and zeroed on the small smile still left lingering on my lips.

"Whats his name?" She asks meeting my surprised eyes. I quickly turn hiding my blush.

"I don't know what you're talking about Rosalie." I hastily remove my jacket and head out the door to the waiting area where my patients sit.

Joseph, one of my...interesting clients eyes light up when he sees me. I peek at my clipboard.

"Mr.Web." I say smiling warmly at him. He quickly gets up with a lop sided smile clumsily stumbling through the door.

I am a psychologist, helping others is something that makes me happy. Me and Joseph make our way to to my room. He lounges in his usual spot, the brown couch near the window. I sat across from him.

I try to listen and concentrate to everything he says but the thought of Alexander kept interrupting my thoughts. We didn't even exchange numbers, I almost face palmed myself at that thought.

Hugging and thanking my last client of the day, I watch as she walks out the door of my office, soon after Rose came bursting through the door.

I roll my eyes. "Rose I don't want to hear it. I simply ran into someone...literally, we talked he bought me coffee, the end."

"Well, did you guys exchange numbers?" She says while flicking her blonde hair behind her shoulder.

"No." I say. I roll my eyes. There's absolutely nothing I can do about it now. This is how life works, you meet people all the time that you might not ever meet again.

"Your smile looked so genuine." She said almost sadly. "You always try making others happy, but shine what about yourself?"

I just chuckle, and go to hug her. "I'll be fine." I kiss her cheek, grabbing my jacket and bag."see you tomorrow."

She smiles her pity for me evident in her eyes. "Night."

I smile once more before leaving and heading out to my car. The cold breeze hitting my neck, as I soon realize my scarf was missing.
