The Amphiptere.. Also known as "The Flying Serpent".
There is approximately 9 species of Amphiptere, the one above is the Firewing Amphiptere, the 4th largest species (183cm). The number 1 largest species is the Golden Amphiptere, it's wingspan reaching to 305cm and over. It's also known as the "King of serpents", because of its massive wings.Amphipteres are also one of the fastest dragons, with their light, snake-like bodies and their strong wings. Each species has a completely different wing/body design.
My favourite one is the Vulcan Amphiptere, the 2nd largest species, with a wingspan of 244cm.Though, there is another species that slightly fits in with the Amphiptere group: The Cockatrice.
The Cockatrice is a hybrid between the Amphiptere and a domesticated fowl.
Try imagining what that would look like.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
