Chapter 5: A Night To Remember

~Amelia's POV~

Today has been a great day. Maggie and I have had such a fun time hanging out with Nick and Cayden, it's not even funny.

We've been downstairs, upstairs, outside, on the trampoline, Maggie and I can do all these crazy flips, the boys were JEALOUSS.

After the trampoline we all went inside to Maggie's music room and I played the piano, everybody seemed really impressed, especially Nick.

Though it's been a fun day, it's 9:34pm and Maggie's mom said that the boys had to leave at 10.

On school nights, actually very often, Maggie and I have sleepovers since we are next door neighbours and can run home in the morning to get ready for school.

"Sucks that we have to leave soon, eh?" Nick randomly blurts and everybody's facial expression drops. WAY TO RUIN THE JOY NICK. But I love him, I gotta admit that.

I didn't even notice Nick come up behind me until I felt two strong arms around my waist,

"HOLY CRAP THAT SCARED ME!" he laughs and sends me a flirtatious wink followed by,

"Good."

"Screw you Nick, screw you." I laugh as I attempt to escape his grip, but I fail.

He puts his mouth beside my ear and whispers,

"I know you want to babe. Ahaha, just kidding." Oh my gosh, WHAT A LOSER!

Almost like we time travelled, it was time for the boys to go. As they leave, we exchange hugs, the boys lean in to kiss us, ya know, according to girlfriend of course... That would be weird if I kissed Cayden. Ewe noooo, STAHP!

Anyway back to the kiss, I decided to tease Nick a bit.

Leaning in for a full on kiss, I quickly peck his lips, grabbing his Snapback and running out onto the lawn.

"THAT'S NOT FAIR YOU CHEATER! GET BACK HERE!" Nick screams as he chases me around the lawn.

I look to see Maggie and Cayden laughing at us, Maggie, of course, wearing Cayden's Snapback too.

Just as I'm distracted, Nick tackles me to the ground. Me falling on top of him into the grass.

I hear whistles and hoots coming from Cayden and Maggie. Nick takes his Snapback off my head, placing it back on his.

He pouts his lips and I decide I've teased him enough, and I give him an actual kiss.

As we pull apart I see Maggie lick Cayden's arm. Well that's not weird at all... I need new friends. Maggie's mom comes onto the porch.

"YEAH, YEAH YOU'RE DATING, GET YOUR BUTTS IN THIS HOUSE!" she screams playfully. Again, we exchange hugs, no kissing, cause Maggie's mom is watching. (Creeeepy)

We say our final goodbye's and go back into the house. Fully prepared to talk about our boyfriends all night. Oooh this is gonna be an AMAZING sleepover.
