Jesscia sat on the swings pushing herself. The air around her was crisp and cold. So cold, it bit the top of her nose, turning it a small red. Her mother hadn't called her in yet. Her dad was off at work. She was all alone. Well, almost.
She grunted as she swung her little legs in the air and tried to push herself. She sighed in defeat and called for her mother.
"Mommy! Help me pwease!" She cried, and waited. Silence.
She got off the swing and ran up the deck steps. Opening the screen door, she stepped into the warm house. Turning her head side to side, she couldn't find her mom in sight. Her little legs ran as fast as they could around the house. She found nothing.
"Mommmy! Mommmy! Mommy?" She said out loud. Her little voice echoed throughout the empty house. She walked down the squeaky steps to the basement. She rummaged through some old things before looking around again.
Her mother nor father was anywhere in sight. She walked back outside. She again sat on the swings. She didn't attempt to push herself. She turned around and saw the tallest man she ever saw.
"Your taaaaallllll!" She exaggerated. Of course, she was 4 years old, she exaggerated EVERYTHING.
The man tilted his head and she looked at him. She started laughing.
"You don't have a face! How can I tell if your happy or not?" She asked curiously. She poked at his hands. And then gasped. .
"Maybe your ALWAYS sad!" She said, her big blue eyes widened at full length. The man tilted his head again, to show he didn't understand. Tugging his hand, she pulled him over to the house.
"Maybe you can help me find my mommy!" She said, excited. Making new friends was fun for her. She didn't go out of the house a lot. He trudged along.
She was still holding his hand and she led him towards her room. The room adorned in pink. The carpet, the walls, the bed, the table, the chairs, the dresser, EVERYTHING. Every last thing was in pink.
She looked through her closets, as if expecting her mother to be hiding, waiting for her. The man just watched. She groaned when she saw her mom wasn't in there.
She walked up to the man. She tugged at his sleeve so he would bend down level with her. She started crying and he patted her little head. He used one of his tendrils to grab a little ribbon and a brush.
He smoothed out her hair and pulled a little bit of it into a bow. The blue ribbon was on top of her head. She laughed and touched it.
"Your nicer than my daddy!" She said smiling. She handed him a picture of her family. Her mother was holding her, and her father tried to run away from the photo. Slenderman tore the photo to a little bits of pieces. He threw them into the air as if it was confetti.
She giggled and grabbed another photo. She also ripped up the paper and threw them into the air. She danced around in circles like you would see in a 1950 movie.
She grabbed a doll off her dresser and handed it to Slenderman. It was a girl that had long blonde hair and wore a little black dress. One of her button eyes fell out and the stitches where the mouth should have been were pulled out.
"She kinda looks like you...we just need..." She said, trailing off. Slenderman grabbed a pair of scissors and handed them to Jessica. She took them and cut off the hair. She pulled out the button a little bit. She cut the strings that connected the button to the doll. She handed it to Slenderman.
"All better!" She said joyfully. Slenderman took the doll and using his tendrils put it back on the dresser.
She pulled him towards the screen door. She pointed at the woods.
"You live there, don't you?" She asked. The Slenderman nodded his head. He grabbed her hand and carried her into the dark woods.
She was never seen again.
Maybe that was for the best.
~*~*~*~MEANWHILE~*~*~*~
Shannon walked into her house. Her daughters boisterous laughter didn't ring through the air. She was scared.
She walked into the living room and found her husband laying on the ground covered in blood. She screamed when she saw on the wall the words
SHE'S GONE
Her daughters handprint along with a bigger one, claws evident in the hand. She dialed 911, but barely got to hear a 'hello?' until she was killed. Hearing her daughter laughing in the background.
