Bill Cipher sat on the bed in his dorm, waiting for his friends to arrive.

Two hours later and there was still nothing.

Two and a half hours later Bill found the meanings of the symbols and wrote them down, as well as how to pronounce them.

Three hours later he put them away.

Three and a half hours later his friends arrived back, with Regulus joining them, and noticed Bill reading a book.

"It's about time you got here," Bill spoke smoothly -like ice cream- .

"Oh, uh, sorry. Hey, can we borrow the concealment charm?" Rosier asked, gripping his arm.

"Why?"

"Well, um, I got my dark mark today. Regulus and Severus are still waiting, but I got mine. When are you going to join, Bill?"

"Oh," Bill chuckled, "I'm never going to join that fool. Honestly, killing all the muggle-borns and half-bloods and muggles? He realizes he's just creating a whole lot of gross-weirdness. Seriously, marrying your own cousin? Ugh. It sounds wrong."

"Shut up!" Evan Rosier said, his face turning a pale shade of red.

"Any ways, the concealment charm only works on muggle tattoos and whatnot. Non-magic stuff."

"For Salzaar's snake! C'mon, just try it!"

"Well, if it fails, it'll turn your skin bright, neon pink. Are you willing to risk that?"

"YES!" Rosier shouted, and Bill tried the charm. The spot where Bill pointed the wand at turned neon pink, then the color began to spread like water.

"Ouch. Well, I did warn ya. Never make a deal with someone who only has one eye!" Bill laughed. "Any who, it'll go away in an hour! Thank Merlin that you didn't ask me in the morning!" Snape and Black stood, staring, watching.

"And so while you guys were out hanging out with Voldemort, I was deducting points from the Marauders for pranking us again, and giving them a yelling. You do not want to see me when I'm mad."

"Well, we'll keep your word for that," Snape said while Rosier clenched and unclenched his jaw.

"How dare you say the Dark Lord's name without your loyalty to him!"

"Eh, I just really don't care about Moldy's life. He should be dead now. Seriously. I wouldn't follow him if my life depended on it." This made Rosier more mad.

"WELL I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND IF YOU KEEP ON DISGRACING HIM, YOU FILTHY MUGGLE-LOVER! YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO SLYTHERIN AND THE WORLD!" Bill stood up.

"HA! YOU THINK THAT I CARE? YOU THINK THAT I WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH A DEATH EATER AND DEATH EATER WANNABES? NO! I WISH I WAS SORTED INTO GRYFFINDOR! THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO HAVE A BLAST!" The other boys gasped.

"YOU FOOLISH TOAD! YOU'LL FEEL SORRY WHEN YOU REALIZE WE WIN THIS WAR THAT'S COMING!"

"Never would I ever join you. Friend or foe."

"UGH! You're so-so," Evan punched Bill in the face, and Bill held his nose. The blood dripping onto the carpet. That's when he noticed something. It wasn't red, it was gold. Gold, gold, gold...

"Why is your blood gold?" Severus asked, his voice iced with fear.

"I-I don't know," Bill stuttered.

"What did you say?"

"I don't know!"

"Bill, you're speaking gibberish!"

"No-No-No, I'm not!"

"Yeah, you are!" Severus retorted, and Bill screamed. A flash of gold blinded the Slytherins and in place of Bill was... Bill?

This wasn't Bill though. Bill was wearing his Hogwarts uniform and had no eye patch and normal eyes. This... other Bill wore a yellow tuxedo-like jacket, black bow tie, white shirt, black pants, an eye patch, top hat, and had cat-like eyes. He blinked and his eyes were back to normal.

"Hello," when he spoke it sort of sounded echo-like. This Bill tipped his top hat. This Bill grinned at them maliciously. "I'll call you... Thorn," he looked at Rosier, "And you'll be Cauldron," he said to Snape, "And you can be... Locket." He glanced at Regulus.

"So, how are ya doing today, Thorn, Locket, Cauldron? Name's Bill, Bill Cipher." That's when the light changed to silver, engulfing this Bill, and then other Bill was back.

"What in Merlin's beard happened?" Hogwarts-Bill asked.

"We don't know," the other boys answered.

"I saw my parents when I was gone. They were smiling at me, telling me how to use my pocket watch..."

"We saw another you," said Severus.

"A more golden version," Regulus chimed in.

"Huh, weird..." Bill said, tracing his thumb over the pocket watch in his pocket. What an interesting day.
