"Lovino, hurry up or you'll be late for school." Feliciano said to his brother. "What are you doing, fratello?" Lovino had grabbed a small duffle bag and started filling it with clothes, food, and drinks. "Lovino, why are you packing? Is it something for one of your classes?" Feliciano had always  been nosy but this time he was being a little too nosy.

"Go to school, Feli. I'll be there in a bit."

"But-"

"No, just go. I don't want you being late because of me. Stop worrying about what I'm doing, okay?"

"Okay. Just make it on time, okay?"

"Whatever." Lovino turned back to his bag and started packing it more. Feliciano knew that the conversation was now over and the topic was not up for discussion. He exited his and Lovino's shared room. Once he heard the front door close, Lovino made sure he had enough food and drinks to last two people a few days. A week at most. Even though he knew that Antonio probably packed some food for himself, Lovino just wanted to make sure they had enough until they could get or find some money. Or we could steal it. Lovino froze at the thought. Where the hell did that come from? He wasn't one to really steal . He didn't know Antonio very well, but Lovino could tell that he wasn't one to steal either. But they most likely had to. He didn't really know how long or how far they would travel.

Lovino walked quickly to the park, the place he would meet up with Antonio before they left. He didn't want to keep Antonio waiting if he had arrived there before him. Which he knew wasn't very likely. When Lovino arrived to the park, it was completely empty. Perfect. Lovino thought. Nobody will be able to hear our plans, then. He sat on the swings and waited. He hoped Antonio would get there soon because he didn't want get caught.

"Hey, Lovi!" Antonio called from behind him. Right on time. Lovino thought, checking his watch. He waited for the Spaniard to join him before he said, "What took you so damn long? I was starting to worry you'd gotten caught." Lovino noticed the nickname Antonio had called him, but didn't say anything.

"Sorry, I slept in." Said Antonio with a slight laugh. Antonio noticed the last comment, which made him smile. Lovino's heart fluttered at that laugh and smile. He tried his best to ignore it, though.

"So, do you know where we're going to go?" Antonio asked Lovino.

"Yeah, there's a trail not too far from here that has a few stops in a couple of towns along the way. I've walked on it before, but not as far as we might go."

"So, we're going there? Will we stop in any of the towns?"

"Probably. I mean, we'll need a few breaks and probably go shopping and stuff. Why? Were you planning on going somewhere else?"

"N-no. I was just wondering. Since you know where everything is there." Antonio said. He seemed so much more different than he did yesterday. He had more of an awkward air about him, and was laughing and smiling more. He seemed happy now that he was away from everything. Lovino was amazed that someone like Antonio could be so intense and somewhat frightening. Flashes of Mathias' bruised and bloodied face popped into Lovino's mind. He shivered slightly, both from those images and the cold autumn air. Lovino didn't have a coat, so he just wore a long-sleeved shirt. Which didn't help much. Antonio noticed the shiver, and pulled his spare coat from his bag.

"Here, I have an extra coat, which I don't really need since I already have one. So you can have it." Antonio said, interrupting Lovino's thoughts. Before Lovino could protest, Antonio placed the coat over Lovino's shoulders, flashing him a bright smile. That smile could kill a whole army. It surely killed Lovino. It made his heart flutter like a butterfly startled by a gust of wind. Lovino tried to ignore the fluttering the best he could, but it was still there. It wouldn't go away when he was with the Spaniard. He wasn't sure why. Lovino slipped the jacket on and zipped it up.

"You didn't need to do this, Antonio. I was fine with just my scarf and shirt." He was completely lying through his teeth when he said that. He just didn't want his soft side to slip too much.

"But you were cold. I didn't want you freezing." Antonio explained, even thought it was a stupid reason. It wasn't even close to being cold enough for someone to freeze. Or at least not enough for the body to shut down. Antonio gave Lovino another bright smile. Lovino slightly glared at Antonio, getting a little annoyed by his happy, carefree attitude. But he knew that he had to get used to it, being on the road with the guy and all.

"Let's get going before anyone we know catches us." Lovino said. He didn't want to be stopped. He felt like he absolutely do this. And with Antonio, of all people.

"Alright, lead the way. You know where we're going better than I do." Antonio was ecstatic to get moving. Even thought he had a feeling there was going to be troubles ahead of them, he was still excited.
