Lovino knew that there were good places to set up camp along the trail, you just needed to look close enough. After looking for a while, they finally found a good spot. It was a clearing-like area, with a ceiling of trees and a carpet of leaves. It looked as if it was meant to be a kind of shelter. "This is perfect! It should keep us safe for the night." Antonio said, looking around. Lovino nodded and looked around as well. He looked for a comfortable place to se up his sleeping area. Lovino opened his duffle bag to get a blanket when he saw that he hadn't packed one. Dammit, how could I be so stupid? Lovino thought, pounding a fist on the ground. Antonio turned around and saw the situation Lovino was in.

"I could give you a blanket, you know. But I only brought one to put on the ground so my, or your, clothes don't get dirty." Antonio said, spreading said blanket out on the ground. It could fit a few people on it, and looked fluffy and warm. "I guess we would sleep on it together," he paused, "Not in that sense, but you get it." Antonio looked from the blanket to Lovino. "Never mind. You can have the blanket, Lovi. It would be weird for us to sleep together, since we hardly know each other."

"No," Lovino said, "It's too cold to sleep with just one blanket." Lovino was blushing at the thought of sleeping so close to Antonio. "It's fine to me to sleep on the same blanket as you, as long as you keep to your side."

Antonio shuffled his feet slightly before saying, "Are you sure? It's going to be really awkward." Antonio held out a blanket for Lovino to cover himself with, which the Italian took and wrapped himself in.

"Yeah, it's okay." Lovino lied down, wrapped in the blanket Antonio had given him, and quickly fell asleep.

Antonio slowly lied down a couple of feet from Lovino, not wanting to disturb him. This is so awkward. I know you were just being generous but think more before you speak, Antonio! He thought to himself. He always spoke before thinking, so he said stupid things often. Antonio closed his eyes and was asleep quicker than he expected. He hadn't realized that he strayed from his side until he woke up with his arms wrapped around Lovino's sleeping body. Antonio started to panic a little, fearing Lovino would be mad at him for doing this, even though he most likely did it in his sleep. He wanted to move, but he didn't want to disturb Lovino, who was clutching Antonio's coat tightly in his hands. The tear stains on his face indicated that he had been crying in his sleep. It all clicked together when Antonio saw that, realizing he had wrapped his arms around Lovino because he was awoken by his sobs. Antonio moved his arm, checking to make sure he hadn't disturbed Lovino, and wiped the Italian's bangs away from in front of his eyes. Antonio smiled to himself, placing his arm in its original position, and closed his eyes again, dozing off slightly.

Why is it so warm? Lovino thought to himself, opening his eyes. He realized why it was when he saw the green material of Antonio's coat in front of him. Lovino's face burned and turned a bright shade of red, realizing what was going on. When the hell did this happen? Why did he wrap his arms around me? Then he remembered that he had been crying sometime in the night, and that Antonio had done that in an effort to comfort him. Dammit, why is he so nice? Lovino thought to himself, And warm? He clutched Antonio's coat in his hands tighter, burying his face in the Spaniard's chest. Antonio opened his eyes, and looked down at Lovino curled up against him. Antonio's face turned red seeing the peaceful look on Lovino's face. But he wrapped his arms tighter around him. This startled Lovino, who woke up and tried pulling away.

"What the hell, bastard?" Lovino said, rolling away and standing up. He brushed himself off and glared at Antonio.

"Sorry, Lovi." Antonio said, sitting up and rubbing the back of his neck. "I shouldn't have done that. I should've just left you alone." His face was extremely red now, embarrassed.

"Yeah." Lovino scoffed and looked away. He wasn't exactly mad at Antonio, he was just a little overwhelmed and confused.
