Chapter 1: The Wait is Over
Kim sat on one of the four throne like chairs. Each chair has its own unique details as if it was meant for one specific person to fit their personality. The three sat there waiting for Kim to understand what has happen. Naomi sat criss-crossed on her chair and gazed at Kim's potential in beauty. Divo sat there impatiently watching Kim fidget with her fingers as if he was ready to interrogate her. Hope sat with a worried expression, hoping that Kim was ready for what was going to happen in the future.
Kim confidently blurted out,"You still haven't told me who you are!" Immediately she covered her mouth because it came out in a sassy tone. Divo shifted in his chair and with a new glare analyzing Kim. Naomi responded without any moment for Kim to breath,"We're the Frost Mercenaries! I'm ...." Hope interrupted Naomi, "That's Naomi , the whimsical one of the group. She has two personalities, one is what you're seeing right now. The other, is deadly. That's all you need to know about her." Naomi exclaimed,"Weapon of choice, these bad puppies!" She threw up her fist in the air, on her hands were just black bandages."I specialize on close combat and excel at Kung Fu, Martial Arts, Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai!" She giggled in a bragging manor and winked at Kim.
Hope continued, " Over there we have Divo, the leader of our group. He relies on the emotion of rage for his destructive power.However he's not always all threatening looking , he's actually really playful sometimes. Not only is he muscles but he's very strategic and wise in battle. He is also one of the three Alpha leaders and all Alpha leaders have groups just like us however..." Hope sighed, "We all have different point of view so we're all against each other unfortunately." Divo grinned ,"Weapon of choice." He points at the wall where his great sword is stuck. "It's meant for cutting through bone and grows during combat as more rage grows inside me."
"And last but not least , Me. My name is Hope , the humble and peaceful one. I'm the one with the brains here and im pretty sure you can pick up my personalities quickly. Weapon of choice."He paused and pulled out 2 small katanas from his back, the 2 had vein like details and they glowed with an icy blue light. "I specialize in some close combat but also i'm the strongest one with magic"
Kim nodded with understanding. "Alright but... Why do you guys even need me. I have no combat skills, i'm very shy. There's nothing special about me..." Divo laughed, "That's where you're wrong. We gained our powerful skills through intense training. That black door you came from only opens four times, and with intervals of 100 years. We here are now immortal and so are you silly human. Through those 100 years ,more for me, we trained to become stronger. I've been here 300 years. Naomi came here 200 years ago, Hope 100 years. You were the last one because of your potential and learning abilities."
Kim took a breath. In her heart there was a sense of acceptance, a feeling that she hasn't felt for a long time. Because of that she decided to stay. "I'm ready, but where do I begin?" Naomi chuckled, " You already have silly!" Divo added, " in 12 hours those big gold doors will unlock, and then we seek support from other kingdoms, and fight against the other 2 groups. The goal, stay alive, demolish the 2 others , Blaze and Zephyr, and we will be able to carry out our purpose. To reunite the world of Gran Celes.
"WHAT NO TRAINING? WHAT IF I DIE RIGHT WHEN I WALK OUT ARE YOU GUYS CRAZY?" Naomi let out her cute giggle, " That's why you're coming with me!" Naomi flipped acrobatically out of her chair and over Kim ,who was directly in front of her. Kim stared at Divo with a look of "What the fuck just happened?Am I going to learn to do that?" Divo smirked and Hope laughed silently. "Lets go to the garden Divo." cheerfully said Hope. Divo shrugged and the two disappeared into the darkness of a wide hallway.
Kim sat there for a moment and started twiddling with her thumbs. "I'm ready, this is a new me." She looked around the room once again taking it all in, the walls had so much detail and engravings, the beauty caught her breath. Naomi peeked her head behind Kim's chair , "Hey what-cha doing there". Kim smiled and the two walked to a steel door that was completely different from the others. It was bordered with large bolts and when they finally walked into the room, the room was completely white with hexagonal panels forming a half sphere structure. "Good luck" Shouted Naomi as she scaled up the walls onto the only available balcony.
