Chapter 4: First Encounters
The cherry blossoms have just began to lose their petals, and fell so gracefully down to the ground. There was only a slight breeze that reminds Kim about the creek.
"Enjoy this while you can, we may not be able to see this anymore." Hope comments.
"Blue petals to represent the Frost Mercenaries... So pretty." Naomi Remarks.
The team reaches the end of the cherry blossom forest and the battle began. Divo stops the group, "First objective, look for the Kai-li crystal. This artifact produces immense amount of energy and therefore can supply a kingdom with energy for a millennium. If we pull this through, the kingdom will support us on our battle." Hope quickly starts to analyze our surroundings, "I've read about it, the only clue known is that the ravens watchs all... What ever that means." Divo immediately starts to walk. No questions were brought up just complete focus in everyones head.
The sunlight is fading and darkness quickly overcame the land. "It's getting too dangerous. Go look for shelter Hope."Divo commands. Hope reaches into his pocket and pull out a small blue book. While holding the book with one hand, his other hand hovers above the book and a green sphere is produced in the gap between the hand and the book. He then removes the book and drops the sphere into the ground and suddenly trees grew around the team. From outside the tree, the area just looked like one big tree.
"Sweeeeeeeeeet!" Naomi shouts and jumps around the the walls of their shelter.
Divo grabs his great sword and throws it directly in front of Naomi's face, stopping her as if she had brakes on her feet. Her eyes closed and a strand of her hair fell from being cut by the sword. "You want us to fucking be dead already? Do you think we're in a game!" Divo screams. Naomi quickly sits down on Divo's sword. Kim looks over at Divo , terrified by his anger. Hope continues to sit there in silence.

"Morning already.... Every ones still sleeping too... I guess i'll go out and look for the Kai-li myself." I thought to myself. I knew have to get out of this tree very quietly, so I climbed the walls, grabbed a knife on my belt and surgically cut a small hole to get outside. I look back once again to make sure nobody woke up, Kim is laying on Divo's chest and Hope was sitting there as if he was meditating
As I finally got outside, I can see a fountain not to far from our shelter. "Yes! My chance to freshen up!" I whisper to myself. Just as I am about to reach the fountain, I could feel a presence behind. Its very familiar. "What are you doing there sis?" The girl laughs. I quickly turn around, and got into defense position. There stood Julia. Shes wearing a red and black rob the covers her entire body, he hair is hidden underneath her hood. "I see you've join the Frost, what a stupid decision dude." I couldn't speak at all, so many emotions were running through my head I didn't know what to express. " You seem a little nervous? Are you already scared that you're going to die now?" Julia laughs harder.
"What happen to you! Why are you being like this!" I shout.
"Power, my dear sister."
Julia put on a sinister smile and pulled off her coat, underneath was a red armor with gold edges. Her hair is longer than I remember and she then grabs a red spear from her back. The spear is custom made, its tip is an emblem of fire with sharp silver edges and the opposite end was another blade that was shaped in like the letter "J " and the bottom of the J has a jagged edge. Without another word Julia begins to spin the spear moving it left to right, rotating it around her body and soon the circular motions creates a fire at both ends of the spear. The fire burns bright red and Julia began to manipulate it creating fire rings and blew the rings straight towards me.
I had no choice but to fight back, I skillfully dodge every ring and the rings would vanish right after it passes me. With each jump I make, I would progressively get closer. my bandages began to loosen and unravel and as I make my first punch, she dodges it with the metal pole of the spear , just as I predicted when I was dodging the attacks. The bandages quickly wraps around the pole and as I jerk back, the spear is sent flying and lands behind me. Julia laughs again, " Don't you know that its impolite to take away an opponent's weapon?"
The spear catches on fire right when she says that and the bandages are burned off. "My turn!" She giggles. She places her hands forward and underneath her sleeves, chains fly out and wrapped around both of my legs. "Still weak as always big sis." I can't think straight, too many emotions are running through my mind. As a last resort I throw my knifes at her and she dodges it with a simple step to the right. The chains began to retreat back into her sleeves and my body is being dragged across the wet soil. I began to cry and struggle, my fingers were no use as I am trying to crawl back and barely slowed Julia down.
Two men and a little girl suddenly appear on a tree up above. They are watching me struggle and cry and begin to cheer on Julia. "Show her how us Blaze kill weaklings!" The little girl shouts. There is so much joy in her eyes, her smile is big as if she was a little girl at Toys-R-Us. Julia then opens her palm and the spear flew directly back into her hands. She stomps on my chest and presses down hard enough to where I'm completely immobile. My lungs can't take any more breaths. She then points the spear at my neck. "Oh how I've always dreamed about this moment."
Just as Julia's spear is about to pierce into my neck, I slightly close my eyes and suddenly I see a small sword fly by knocking the spear out of Julia's hand.
