Lulu was quietly walking down the hallway as her thoughts wandered aimlessly. She was thinking about that math test she probably failed, and then her older brother going off to highlighter parties all the time.. Her family had no future.
But most of all, she was thinking about.. him.
She slowly turned around the corner and saw him standing there.. Nobody.
Just by the sight of him, her heart pounded and her face felt red. He was beautiful. His skin smooth as air, his crystal clear eyes, and his windblown hair. When she was around him, it seemed like all troubles were invisible.
But she's too frightened to go up and talk to him. She watched him from the library every day after school, as he read a book called 'My "Imaginary" Friend'
She would dream, and wish, but could never build up the courage to say a simple "Hello". But one day her dreams began to wander into reality.
