My alarm goes off waking me up. I look over at Marina as I grab my phone to see if it woke her up. Her cheek is still so red and bruised I feel so bad for her. I should go get her some ibuprofen.
I take my phone and head downstairs as I walk down the stairs I check my emails and text messages. My mom and dad texted me about a hundred times asking me where I'm at. I text them back telling them I'm staying at a friends.
Once I reach the kitchen I get the ibuprofen and a glass of water and head back up. Marina is still asleep so I set the pills and water down on the nightstand and head to the bathroom to take a shower.
I play Billie Holiday and get undressed. The warm water feels amazing on my skin. I love showering I get to wash off everything bad that happened the day before and start my new day.
Once I'm done I get out and wash my face, brush my teeth, and get in some of Marina's pajamas.
Marina looks so cute when she's asleep. I walk over to her and lean over to kiss her forehead, but wake her up.
"Lizzy, what time is it?"
"Its 11:00"
"Don't we have school today?
"yeah, haha, but I don't really want to go."
"Okay we can stay in and watch movies"
"That sounds amazing. I'm gonna go make some breakfast."
"Ooo, can you make some chocolate chip pancakes?"
"Any thing for you my love."
I get everything out and make the pancakes. I'm not really in the mood for pancakes so I make myself a banana shake while the pancakes are cooking.
I feel Marina's arms hug my waist and she turns me around. "I love you too, Lizzy" omg she must have heard me whisper that to her last night. My cheeks become hot and I don't want Marina to see so I turn around, but I don't turn around fast enough. "Aww, did I make you blush?"
I feel my face getting really hot and I'm so embarrassed but Marina makes me so happy and I'm glad she came into my life. I see Marina's hand come up to my face and my heartbeat begins to quicken. Marina pulls me in and kisses me. He lips are so soft and I never want to leave this moment.
This magical moment is broke once we hear the door unlock. In enter a lady who looks like an older version of Marina. "Marina are you home? Oh you are, my plane landed late and I lost my phone." She sets her things on the table and walks toward the kitchen. I let go of marina quickly and continue making the pancakes.
"Hi, mom." Escapes Marina's lips.
Her mom comes closer to us and she grabs Marina's face and a sad look takes place of the happy one that was there. "What happened to you?!?!?"
"Last night Jake came over and slapped me and Lizzy helped me and got him off of me."
"Well that god you were there" she directs toward me.
"I'm just happy Marina is safe." I see Marina's cheeks become red, well then one that isn't bruised and a smile escapes her lips.
"Mom, this is Lizzy.. My girlfriend" GIRLFRIEND honestly this has been the best day of my life I can't believe Marina just called me her girlfriend.
"Well, hi Lizzy nice to meet you" she shakes my hand a then the screen on her apple watch lights up "Oh crap I'm late!" She takes her bag and car keys running out the door. "Lizzy will you be here for dinner?"
"Yes?" and the door shuts.
"Well I think that went well." Marina grabs the plates of pancakes and takes them to the table.
"So I'm your girlfriend?"
"Well if you want to be..?"
"Of course I do. I think your the most amazing person I've ever met and I'm happy you're in my life."
"Aweee, Lizzy" she leans over and kisses me and my body goes numb I'm in a trans and all I want is Marina. "I'm starving. Can we eat now?" I hadn't noticed she stopped kissing me.
"Yes, of course"
