Chapter 2: Bugs, Battles and a Town

Kristine's POV
I looked around for anything we may find useful. Maybe I can use my psychic powers?

I began to concentrate,
" Uh, Kris, what are you doing? Your face looks funny. " That line made my concentration break.
" Dang it Caryl! " she only snickered.
" Sorry dude. " she apologized.
I sighed, well I only saw a forest.... Maybe there is a forest nearby?
" Are you okay Kris? " Monica said with a concerned tone.
" Yep, I'm okay " I replied.

I looked towards east.
" Maybe we should look around for, ya know.... forests, villages or even other Pokemons! " I suggested.
" Hmmm... Good idea... Let's go! " Eiyah yelled while standing up, then fell down again.

She let out a nervous chuckle
" We really need to learn how to walk, or in your case Mon-Mon... how to fly. " We all laughed and nodded in agreement.

Caryl stood up like a pro and smirked at Eiyah.
" It's quite easy, I really don't know why you keep on falling down Ei... " Eiyah only puffed her cheeks and stood up, a bit wobbly at first but got the hang of it.
" Since we can all stand up now, can we find something or someone that can help us at least? " I asked, itching for an adventure.
" We can probably... " but then Caryl looked at Monica.
" But we also need someone that Mon-Mon can perch on... " Monica only blushed.
" Y-yeah probabl- " She was cut off by Eiyah, who yelled
" Mmmeeeeee!!!!!! " I and Monica flinched, but Caryl seemed unfazed.

" Okay, then it's settled. Mon-Mon will perch on Ei, we'll go east for a forest, villages or even Pokemon- " She was cut off by items falling from the sky. We quickly jumped away
" Whoa! Where did that come from?! " Eiyah yelled in surprise.

We looked at the fallen items, there was:
A necklace with an absolite ( Caryl said)
a purple ribbon
a red and green boots
a purple band
and a bag full of medic items

In the end I got the boots because no one else could wear it, and the bag because I always wanted to be a medic. Caryl got the necklace with the absolite because it was only useful to her, Eiyah got the ribbon for accessories and Monica got the band for accessories too.

" Okay now we should really go find something, so yeah! " Ryl turned around and marched to east, we followed.
" Is it okay to go in this direction? " Monica asked.
" Yeah, I think so... " I replied nervously
" Okay then.."

At least thirty minutes later we found a HUGE forest..... And then Caryl started being scared because of the bugs...

" I'm a dark type!! I have the right to be scared of bugs!! " She yelled. I just rolled my eyes playfully.
" Their just bugs! And bugs are tiny and cute! " I shot back.
" I don't care!! I will scream if I might even see a butterfree! " she yelled nervously. I only face palmed ( or facepawed? )and sighed. This is going to be one painful and long walk.

Eiyah's POV
Finally, FINALLY we found a forest..... What? It's better than nothing.

Caryl was looking rather tense.... Well her fear of bugs was one of the causes... But you probably know the other cause.

" U-um Kristine? " Caryl said timidly.
" Yeah? "
" Is there a village or town at the end of this forest? For ya know, a place to stay. "
Kristine only sighed,
" Well I can't really see... But hopefully we will find one. " Caryl nodded in reply.

As we walked further into the woods, I can't help the feeling of being watched. Then I heard a twig snap. The others must've heard it too.
" What was that? " Monica said nervously.
" I don't know, but be prepared everybody, we might battle someone or something... " Caryl said while eyeing the trees closely.

I tensed as well as the others.
" Wait, we don't eve- " I was cut off by a figure who jumped down from a tree branch.
" Hmmm... You girls must've sensed me, no? " The figure smirked evily. The figure was a mightyena.
" What do you want? " Caryl growled.
" Oh nothing, but a good battle would be nice. " He said before he disappeared.

Caryl's POV
Crap! Now we need to battle someone when we don't even know how!

I gritted my teeth as I went into a fighting stance. My eyes darted around for the mightyena, but a few moments later I saw a purple ball flying towards Monica and Eiyah.
" Ei! Mon-Mon! Look out! " I yelled, but I was too late. The shadow ball already hit them. They tumbled away groaning in pain. My anger was boiling inside me.

" NO ONE, MESSES WITH MY FRIENDS!! " I yelled while using flamethrower with blue flames.... wait... blue flames? Realization hit me, like a slap to my face. The rest were admiring the blue flames I created, when I stopped I saw Mightyena panting in pain.

" That's one strong flamethrower ya got kid... But the battle's just getting started!! " He yelled while trying to hit me with iron tail. I quickly jumped away. Suddenly a storm of leaves hit him.
" Argh! You'll pay for that! " as he hurled a large shadow ball toward Eiyah. She gasped, but used Protect just in time.

Suddenly I heard something like a yell, then I saw Mightyena tumbling away with Kris smirking, she might've use Disarming voice... Wow we learned our moves pretty quickly.

Then I felt something hit me on my head, then I tumbled away until I hit a tree.
" Argh... Ugh... T-that hurts... " I said weakly.
" Caryl! " The three of my friends yelled, worried for me.

Then consciousness began to leave me, I only saw a blur run towards me while another fought the larger blur. Then I lost my consciousness.

Kristine's POV
" Oh my... Fudge, Caryl's down! " I said while running to our fallen friend and dodging a few attacks.

" Caryl, Caryl? Can you hear me?" I panicked. Her eyes where already closed but I still feel her pulse. Then I remembered my bag, I began rummaging my bag, until I found some Oran berries. I grabbed some and shoved them in her mouth. Then she began to chew the berries.

I sighed, then I looked back to the battle. Eiyah was battling the Mightyena with Mon-Mon helping. Then I looked back at Caryl, she was hit by a larger-than-necessary shadow ball.

Then I heard someone fall to the ground, I looked back and saw Mightyena defeated on the ground with Ei and Mon-Mon panting hard.

" We... really... should find... a village... by now " said Eiyah who was still panting.
" Okay, I'll try to look.. " I said then concentrated once again on my Psychic powers.

I see... a village! And a compass that points to north? Maybe we need to go North! Wait is that a luxio?

" Well... What did you see? " Eiyah asked
" I saw a village and a compass that points to North " I replied
" I guess we have to go North then " Mon-Mon said softly
" But first- " I said grabbing their attention
" -We need someone who can carry Caryl "
" Oh yeeeeaaaahhhh.... But who? " They realized
" I dunno I can't use Confusion because she's basically a dark type, and dark types are IMMUNE to psychic ty- "

" Hey! Are you girls lost?! " Said the one who cut me off
" Yes! And please help our friend! " Eiyah kinda yelled
" Okay then... " Then figure was a luxio as I can remember. He walked towards us carefully, he gasped when he saw Caryl but shook it off immediately. Then he howled and two houndooms came running towards us.

" Please carry the absol to the nurse "
" Yes sir! " they a said and picked up Caryl and ran.
" W-where are you taking her?! " Ei said alarmed
" They'll bring your friend to the nurse, now follow me " and he ran North.
We looked at each other, we shrugged and followed the luxio.

We were FINALLY in a village, and oh boy it was huge..
