A wise old owl in an older tree,
was telling an eaglet a little story.
The story was about a girl in a forest
With no path but the one before her.
The eagle interrupted his teacher's tale,
"But she took the path as there was no other way."
The eaglet said she required no strength,
for she had no real choice in her path.
The owl shook his head and lowered his voice,
"Of course she had a real choice.
She could have simply stopped walking,
She could have gone back the way she came.
There is no doubt that she was strong.
She had but one path and she walked on."
