I can't believe it. I made it out of Drama class today. ALIVE. With dorkass following me everywhere, though not saying anything, he was staring at me the whole while. Don't think I didn't notice, I'm weirdly observant.
But he couldn't have put me in a worse mood today. By mentioning mustard number one. I can barely stop myself from punching the wall. Honestly! My dad would ask if it's the time of the month for me once I get home. That is, if he was home. Since he and mom divorced, I haven't heard from him. Not again.
I miss him.
Messy brown hair that he never comb, light blue eyes that for some reason looked grey, tall figure...
He loves coffee.
Or did.
I don't know.
Not even if he's still alive.
I groaned. Grudgingly stepped out of my last class, with Nile trailing me. He's never disappeared, except that one time after English Lit, but he caught up with me after a couple minutes. He's really following out on being my mentor...
"I'll meet you at the cafeteria 8.30 tomorrow to discuss the project from English Lit?" Nile asked, stopping me by standing in front of me.
I frowned.
"We're supposed to do it in groups?" I asked, furrowing my brows together, confused.
He laughed. "Yes, Cora, didn't you jot that down on your notebook?"
I scowled, "I have lots of stuff to worry about in life, I can't remember everything."
"Aww... Good girl getting frustrated?" He teased.
I glared at him.
You wanna do this? Two can play at this game. I smirked.
I stepped closer to him, put a hand on his chest, leaned close, that my face was only couple centimeters away from his. I heard his breath catch, and I knew I got him. I softly brushed my lips on his, sending tingles to the tip of my toes. He leaned in to gain access when I lifted my leg to knee him in the jewels.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow , ooowww!!!" He yelled, clutching his particular area.
I smirked. I was strong, I know, adding the fact that I was wearing jeans, well, pain times 10.
"Who told you to mess with me?" I said lightly.
He growled at me.
"Nah, ah, ah!" I sang, "Do you like to walk on both feet? I'm wearing heels, your foot's gonna hurt a lot...! Oh, and you might want me to say sorry. Yeah?"
He glared at me but didn't say anything.
"I knew it. Well, I'm sorry to say, but, I'm not sorry. Now run along and go back to your little personal prostitute."
My phone rang, at that moment.
I smirked once more at him, "See you tomorrow morning, alligator."
I walked away, before pulling out my phone. Mom? She never calls, she only calls when she's drunk. Oh crap!
"Mom?"
"Oh, Coraline darling, I lost my job again, boohoo!" She slurred over the phone.
"Mom? Okay, um... What are you drinking?"
"Tequila, what else?"
Tequila, of course.
"Mom, stop drinking, I'm coming home right now."
