*10 days later*

"Hey Grace" Grayson smiles giving me a hug.

"Hi Gray" I smile hugging him back.

"You excited for prom tonight?" Ethan asks suddenly appearing next to Caitlyn and Grayson.

"Yeah I am, do you guys have a date?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm going with Shawn" she smiles as Shawn appears by her side.

"That's cute" I smile.

"I'm going with Kaylah" Grayson smiles.

"Aw yay, I'm happy for you" I smile clapping my hands.

Grayson has had a crush on Kaylah for I don't even know how long and his finally done something about it.

"I'm going with Peyton" Ethan blushes.

"Aw cute" I smile.

"So, who's the lucky guy?" Caitlyn asks.

"Well I was planning on asking him-" I cut my sentence short when I see Cam walk through the double doors.

I smile as I walk towards him. Picking up my pace slightly.

"Hey" I smile giving him a hug.

"Hey Gracie" Cam chuckles.

"So um, I was wondering what your plans are for tonight?" I smile as we slowly walk towards Ethan, Grayson, Caitlyn and Shawn as well as a few others.

"Um maybe watch some movies and get pizza, why?" He asks.

"Well um I was wondering, will you come to prom with me?" I ask as a blush rises on my cheeks.

"You want me, Cameron Dallas, to go to prom with you?" He asks.

"Yes Cam, I want you, Cameron Dallas, to come to prom with me" I smile.

"Okay" he chuckles nervously.

"Yay" I smile hugging him.

Last week Cam and I became really good friends and we basically have spent every night together and honestly I don't regret spending countless hours being there for him and becoming friends with him.

*5 pm that night*

I smile as I look in the mirror happy with my final look.

I pull on my silver high heels before fixing my hair and putting my silver necklace on.

"Gracie, Cams here" Grayson shouts up the stairs.

I smile adding some lip gloss to my lips before looking at my reflection.

I then walk towards my door and make my way downstairs.

*Cam's Pov'

I nervously fix my glasses as I wait for Gracie to come down the stairs.

"How do I look?" I hear her sweet voice ask.

I look up and my jaw drops. I close my mouth and swallow hard as I look at the beautiful girl standing in front of me.

"Wow, you look amazing" I manage.

She blushes as she walks done the rest of the stairs.

"I um, I brought you this" I mumble as I pull a white corsage out of my pocket.

"Cam, this is beautiful" She smiles as I put it on her wrist.

"You like it?" I question.

"Love it" Gracie smiles looking at it.

*Gracie's Pov*

"I've got to take a photo of you two, you both look so cute" Kaylah smiles.

I laugh as I wrap my arm around Cam. He puts his hand on my waist and grabs my other hand gently.

I smile as I look up at him before looking at the camera.

Kaylah takes the photo before we pick up our clutches and start making our way to the school.

"You look so beautiful" Cam smiles as he looks at me.

"You look really handsome yourself Cam, and you're glasses give off this really cute vibe" I smile as I adjust his glasses.

"Thank you" he smiles.

I smile before we climb out of the car once we have reached the school.

We make our way to the gymnasium after meeting Ethan and Peyton and Caitlyn and Shawn out the front.

Cam wraps his arm around my waist making me blush.

"You guys really should date, don't you think shawn?" Caitlyn smiles as she looks at me and Cam before turning to shawn.

He scoffs and laughs before looking at Caitlyn.

"Now Caitlyn, tell me why would the most popular girl in school want to date this nerd?" Shawn says as he turns to face us.

Cam's grip on my waist slowly begins to loosen making me lose it.

"You're kidding me right? You're fucking unbelievable Shawn, you were supposed to be my best friend" I kinda shout.

"Gracie calm down-" Caitlyn starts but I cut her off.

"Oh no I won't calm down Caitlyn, this boy right here is the sweetest, most humble guy I've ever met and he brings out the best in me. He doesn't deserve the shit Shawn and his friends put him through and he certainly deserves to be treated with respect" I snap.

I look at Cam who has a few tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Come on Grace and Cam, you don't deserve this on a night like tonight" Ethan says taking my hand.

Peyton grabs onto Cam and they pull us into the gymnasium.

"Gracie" Cam mumbles.

"Cam, come here" I sigh opening my arms.

He wraps his arms tightly around me before he rests his head in the crook of my neck.

I hug him tightly wishing that I could put his broken pieces back together.

"Let's go dance, you don't deserve any of this shit" I say as I take his hand and pull him to the dance floor.

"How do I uh?" He asks just loud enough for me to hear.

"Like this" I chuckle as I place his hands on my waist.

I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him close.

"You know I'm always here for you right?" I whisper as I look at Cameron.

"I know" he nods.

I smile and kiss his cheek before resting my head on his shoulder.

He tightens his grip on my waist and pulls me closer making me smile.

After the song finishes we make our way to the drink table and grab a drink before we make our way over to a seat.

I take a sip of my drink before looking at Cam.

"You know, you are a lot stronger than what you think" I say as I take his hand in mine.

"I doubt it" he scoffs.

"You are Cam, I promise you that" I smile.
