"It was a tough fight but we got him in a stable state" The doctor says.

"Oh my gosh" I breathe out as I hug Gina.

"Thank you so much doctor" Ethan says as he wraps an arm around me.

"May we visit him?" Gina asks.

"You may but no more than two people in the room at a time, he may wake up but he may be a bit out of it and we are still waiting on the test results of his brain scan to make sure there is no brain damage, once you have seen him please come to my office so I can go through some things. His room is the first door on the right just down the hall, room 201" The doctor says.

Gina and I nod our heads before he walks away.

"You go first sweetie" Gina says.

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yes sweetie" She smiles before sitting down.

I nervously pull at my jumper sleeves as I look in the direction of his room. I turn my head to look at Ethan.

"I can't do this alone, come with me?" I ask quietly.

"Of course" He says as he wraps his arm around me and walks down the hall with me.

Once we get to his room I open the door and we walk in. I let out a small whimper at the sight of him. I walk towards the chair next to him and sit down. I grab his hand and look at him.

"I'm sorry" are the only words I can manage to get out before I start crying.

*1 Hour Later*

I let out a shaky breath as I sit down next to Gina in the doctors office.

"Now, whilst this is going to be hard on you both there are some things that will have to happen" The doctor says as he places his hands on his desk.

I nod my head signalling for him to continue.

"Cameron is going to have to be under strict supervision meaning either one of you will have to be around at all times, now there are some chances that he will have memory loss but I am pleased to tell you that there is no damage to his brain. Once he has woken up we will test to see if he has got any memory loss and if that is the case, go slow and don't be full on. If he talks about any suicidal things bring him into see me straight away and also if either of you need to talk feel free to come see me, you may feel like you don't need the help but sometimes you do"

Gina and I both nod our heads taking in all the information.

"Now once Cameron wakes up I will be keeping him in here for a few days just to asses his mental state and to make sure nothing happens but either of you can stay here with him, it may make him feel a little better knowing he has someone here as well" The doctor says.

"Um I would like to stay" I say as I look at the doctor.

the doctor nods before he looks at the both of us.

"Now one thing I will warn you about is the fact that when he wakes up he may not remember the attempt or he might, he could be angry, sad, it varies really but just don't be shocked if he does say anything" The doctor explains.

"Thank you" Gina says.

"Now as it is almost 1 am I ask that you both go home and get some sleep and I will call you if he wakes up" The doctor smiles.

I nod my head as I stand up.

"Thank you doctor" I say softly.

"It's my job" He smiles as he follows Gina out of his room.
