After I got out the shower I dried off and put my robe on. As I put it on I smelt perfume on it. I knew the scent from somewhere I just couldn't figure it out right now. After combing my hair back I put a little gel on it and put on a new suit and pair of shoes. Walking out I did a double take in the mirror. Putting my hand in the gun shape I lifted it up to my mouth blowing imaginary smoke off of it. "Damn that man is fine" I said to myself rubbing my sleek hair back. I walked in my office and saw my coffee I smiled a little knowing that she was now here. I walked outside to her desk and gave her a piece of paper that I needed for her to fill out.
"I will bring it to you when I'm finish "
She said without looking up
"Okay and when I speak to you, you look up at me. "
"Yes sir is there anything else you need" I heard some attitude in her voice.
"No"
"Okay well you can leave"
Well that was weird and rude I thought she liked me being near her. But oh well.

"Here you go sir" ambreyiah said handing me the files.
"Did you not read your emails"
"What emails sir"
"I had set up an email account for business. It's on the laptop in your office"
"Sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I'll go check it right now"
"No need to I can tell you right here. I want those typed up and emailed to me and after that I want you to go and file them."
"Yes sir" was all she said. Before turning around to walk out of my office.
" ms. Bryant did I tell you I was finished with you?"
She stopped in her tracks. "Turn around and look at me. I am your boss so whatever you got going on with your damn attitude you need to check it quick. I will not put up with this from you I pay you too damn much. Do you understand" I said getting pissed with every word. She was looking so terrified as I spoke to her.
"Do you understand?" I said raising my voice a little
"Yes sir"
"Leave"

I hurried out of his office and went into mines. Who the hell does he think he is, talking to me like that as if I didn't see another woman in his robe. But fuck it right. I opened the small window in my office and stuck my head out to get a breath of fresh air. I looked up at the sky and saw it turning grey just as I heard some thunder. Just great out of all days it just had to rain on this day. I looked at the clock and saw it was almost time to get off. Closing my window I went straight to the laptop and started typing away. It was sooo quiet in here. Nothing a little music couldn't help with. I grabbed my phone that Ali had bought and turned on Pandora. I went to old skool Station and some Keith sweat started playing. I was in the zone now.
When I was done with the files I sent them to him. A few minutes later he came in.
"Did I not tell you you're work hours?"
"Yes sir"
"Well why are you still here?"
Before I could answer "What did you eat for lunch"
I thought of a lie I could tell him. I umm had a BBQ sandwich"
"Don't lie to me I know you ain't ate anything"
I just stood there staring at him not knowing what to say. I can't tell him I didn't have any money for lunch that's just too embarrassing.
"You will eat lunch everyday at 12:30, and don't think I won't find out if you skipped it. Now let's go get some dinner"
He put his hand at the small of my back and ushered me out the building which was dark except for the few computer lights that were still on.
