Moving at a steady pace it didn't take long for Arthur to realize where they were. The streets of New York were as busy as ever. "Why are we here?" Seeing how everything looked so normal made Arthur shutter. This was where Arthur and Alfred lived. They put their money together when Arthur moved from London to buy a home. What made things worse is that many of the people in the city knew who they both were. Arthur's popularity sky rocketed when he began working at the bakery down town. It was hard to act normal when someone would wave or say hello. Arthur just wanted to hide.
"Because this is where the escapee is." 'Alfred' answered not stopping at all.
"And how do you know where the umm... escapee is?" Arthur wondered why he was asking so many questions. Staying quiet would have been better but then again he hated quiet.
"Sin has a sort of aura. It's everywhere since the human species dose like to sin a lot. But one that has been dammed gives off a larger aura than anything else so we are sure to find it."
"Are the ones that escaped all the same type of sin?"
"No we had a few that were not from our district that were about to be shipped out but...." Alfred stopped for a moment turning towards an old looking house. Arthur was surprised and how quickly they made it to the residential aria of the city. "It's in there." He said as he started to enter the yard.
"Wait!" Arthur examined the house, "What are we supposed to do? How are we gonna catch it?" He said nothing and just continued on, "Hey! I need some information here!." Alfred tried to open the door but it was locked. It wasn't much of a problem though he used a small spark of magic to open the door. It swung open slowly letting a waft of old dusty air out. Arthur coughed hard as Alfred covered his face with his arm, "We are not seriously going to walk into some old abandoned house in the middle of the day are we?" Again he said nothing and continued on inside. Arthur shook his head, giving up and just followed.
"Up the stairs," The imposter speaking made Arthur jump slightly. The inside of the house was creepy enough. He didn't need fake Alfred trying to spook him. The stairs were old and wooden. When Arthur stepped on the first step the creek could be heard throughout the whole house. He stared up them wishing he hadn't. The darkness at the top of the stairs reminded Arthur of every generic horror movie ever made. 'It's okay Arthur there is only a damned soul up there... just the exact same thing as an angry ghost...' Arthur thought as he started to scale the stairs, Alfred following behind. The stairs turned into a hallway and Arthur turned around suddenly,
"Wait why do I have to be in front?" Alfred just grinned,
"So I don't get killed."
"Wait what?" Suddenly Alfred shushed him and pointed,
"That room." He said and Arthur turned to see what he was looking at. The second door on the right was glowing a light tinge of red. Arthur without being told began to approach the door. Something was calling him, pulling him to the light. He slowly reached for the door knob. He paused for a brief moment before turning it. He opened the door and peered in. The room was huge and fully furnished. It looked like a bed room. A queen sized bed agents the wall right in the middle of the room with a dresser on the left side and desk with a mirror on it on the right. It took Arthur a few seconds to realize there was someone sitting on the bed, a woman with long brown hair, "That's it." Arthur jumped slightly not realizing the fake Alfred was right behind him. He whispered to not startle the spirit, "It's seems to have claimed a home."
"What type is it?" Arthur asked taking the hint to whisper as well. Alfred examined her,
"I'm pretty sure she is from our district... Lust." Arthur raised an eyebrow but decided it was better not to ask how someone like him was part of the lust community and instead went with,
