Cassie's Pov
When we got home all I could do was hug Matt, and cry. I was so happy he wasn't leaving, and he was okay. I was so mad at Nash, I mean he's changed, I used to LOVE him, Cash was amazing, but he's changed, and I don't like the new him. The fact that he would do that to one of his "best friends" I don't buy it.
"Matt, you're okay right?" I ask.
"Yeah, Cass I'm good, I'm going to rest okay?" Matt cupped my head with his hands and wiped away my tears with his thumbs, gave me a long kiss, gave me a reassuring grin, "I love you Cassie."
" I love you too Matt." And with that he left.

I said that, did I mean it? Of course I meant it, I've finally found love. I really like him. It's something different, sure he gives me butterflies, but he's the one who I see loving me, no matter how annoying I am, and how mad he gets at me, I see a flame that cannot die, and I know people say that, but I mean it, I can't explain. I really do love him, and I thought I lost him, I'm not letting go anymore.
I finished writing and I closed my diary, tucking it into a place where I think it's unknown.
I went downstairs and sat on Matt's bed, thinking he was asleep. He rolled over, tickled me, grabbed my sides, and held me.
After we just laid there in silence, I moved under the covers, and finally spoke up, "Matt, I want to tell you something."
"Yes Casser?" He asks.
"Okay, earlier when I said I love you.. I really truly meant it, I don't give out those words, I say them only when I mean it. And when I said it, I put no thought into it, I just said it, and when I did, I realized how much I truly meant it, how much I love you, and long to be in your arms, and when Nash had you, I was scared, sure it's Nash, but I thought I lost you, I was scared. I love you a lot Matthew. "
"Cassidy, I love you more. I get it, and I have a fire for you. I know what you mean, I was scared he would do something to you, but, how about we stop worrying and thinking about this, and just enjoy this moment."
I turned around, kissed him, and nodded.
