Everything in my life was normal. I had a steady boyfriend, I was a honor roll student, I was going to apply for a running start Harvard program, and everything was great. Until the demon showed up.
She arrived at my school as a new student. Everyone was awed at her beauty, but I saw through her. Literally. I literally saw through her as if she was a ghost. That should've been my first clue. I don't what what they saw in her. My hair was black too, but nooooo, she had purple eyes and mine were green. Who cares, right? Ok, so I admit it, the green eyed monster named Envy (sorry Envy) got to me.
This girl drove me nuts. Everything was about her. No one cared about the top honored student anymore. So yeah. I was jealous. But I noticed a lot of things. Such as her eyes had slits instead of pupils. She had pointed teeth. And the fact that she was transparent. No one else noticed though.
She one day marched up to me, I thought she was gonna get me back for trying to ruin her, but that wasn't the reason. I didn't know that this was the last time I would ever see my friends and family, when they would remember and be able to see me.
