Lily Brooke isn't real.
She's got a body, two arms, two legs, a heart that beats, a brain.
But she doesn't live on the Earth.
Lily lives in dreams.
She's locked away in the clouds, wandering through people's dreams, seeing things the dreamer won't even remember when they wake up.
Then Lily meets Tom.
She wanders into Tom's dream, only to see Tom just sitting there.
Not the most interesting dream ever. Lily's just about to leave and go find another dream to go in, when Tom asks her who she is.
Tom can see her.
That's the start of the friendship that leads to love with only one problem.
Lily isn't alive.
