I am running. From what, I don't know, bit I do know that if it catches me then my short life will be over.
The boy next to me stumbles, and I haul him up by his coat. We run onwards, away from the thing chasing behind us. Because forwards is the only way to go, to avoid death.
Hayley Gregg is normal. A average teenaged girl.
She has a sister (annoying) a crush (he never notices her!) and best freinds (they're awsome).
Normal.
Unless you count the part when she is chased by a terrifying monster that the goverment created to kill her.
