Chapter 1

I ran swiftly through the streets, members of another pack after me that planned to harm me. Naturally, because of who I was; Natalya Dragneel, the younger sister of the Northern pack alpha: Natsu Dragneel.

I panted while pushing onward to get back to the forest, to my home and my brother but, they caught me. I hated their smirks, they wanted a mate and I was still to young to mate but this didn't stop them until I was shoved to the ground by an unknown force.

I hit the ground hard with a cry, all I remember was a stranger with bright red hair and then everything went black...

PRESENT DAY
"Natalya!" I heard my brother's familiar voice coaxed with worry, after my incident a week ago he stayed close to me or had the Beta or their mates stay with me when he had business to attend to. "Yes Natsu?" I called out and was met with a pair of strong arms that always kept me warm and safe.

"Feeling better, how's your head?" Natsu asked, his onyx eyes filled with worry and concern since bandages were wrapped around my head by our healer. I smiled to ease him. "I'm alright, the pain has subsided a lot, relax now." I answered while snuggling into his warmth; Growing up, Natsu and I were inseparable and still are. When our parents died he took over the alpha position then Lucy came along, he had no desire to mate until he met her, now he has his first litter on the way! I'm happy for him.

"Can I get out and walk around please, I'm getting restless laying in my furs for the past week." I pouted and heard him sigh. "Fine, but I'm staying with you. Understood?" Natsu said sternly and I nodded. "Understood Natsu." I answered, I want to go out on my own but since that day it seems like that won't happen.

I didn't know today was going to change my world... Forever.
