I stayed awake from the fear of losing my pup. "Why, why does he want to hurt you?" I thought out loud, not knowing Natsu was listening to me but smiled when he held me close like he always did when we were small, I remember that day when our parents were killed and they made Natsu the alpha since he was the oldest son.
I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts, I can't change the past and our parents would want us to look forward to the future.
"I want this war to end.." I said before feeling my hair being stroked. "It will soon and you and the pup with be safe, I'm right here to protect you both." Natsu whispered to me so he wouldn't wake Lucy.
I nodded and snuggled the closet I could to him. "I have a feeling someone is going to be here to help, not sure if it's Dimitri but someone will come protect you with me." He soothed me, helping me fall asleep and not worry about the danger.
Natsu was awake, watching for intruders and listening intently. "I promise I will keep all of you safe like I promised dad Natalya.."
"I swear I will not let him touch you."
