Chapter 15

I groaned as I opened my eyes but frowned when I heard a heard a seagull. I looked around to see Klaus and Dahlia." wow, I guess the spirits really do hate me, because if this is heaven... I hate it" I told them and Klaus helped me up with a roll of his eyes." must you always use sarcasm in moments like this"

"If you think I won't, you have a got another thing coming" I snapped at him and Dahlia chuckled." you two bicker like an old married couple" she told us and I glared at her before looking around.

" where exactly are we" I asked and Dahlia started walking ignoring me. Klaus took my hand and we followed after her." I'm really starting to hate this connection" I told Klaus and he smirked." look at the Brightside, at least your connected to me and not Elijah"

" how is that the Brightside of this?" I asked and he sighed." now, since we have time, mind explaining why you have been ignoring me for the passed week"

" hmmm." I pretended to think about it before answering" no, plus i haven't been ignoring you"

" yes you have sweetheart, ever since we came back from our little trip in the woods, you haven't said a word to me, you won't look at me, for crying out loud you wouldn't even punch me when I told you could"

" I have no memory of that" I told him and he growled in frustration before he walked closer to Dahlia. We stopped and she told us to listen. I frowned hearing screams as people died all around us. Two girls hid behind a wagon, they were only a few years younger then me but one of them had flowers in her hair. One of the men grabbed them but the older of the two threw him away with a wave of her hand only to get a bag over her head. They were dragged away and Dahlia told us that her and Esther were the only survivors when their entire village was destroyed. We followed her to a very dark looking cabin and she told us about while her sister was outside in the gathering herbs, she dabbled in the dark arts to spare Esther the torture of the Viking's abuse.

As we watched the younger Dahlia worked but Esther appeared with a smile on her face telling her that she planned to marry Mikael and have a family. A I watched I thought of Elena, trapped in that coffin and a tear fell down my cheek." do not weep child, these memories are old and long passed"

" doesn't matter, the betrayal of a sister is not something to forget" I mumbled and Klaus reached out for my hand but I pulled away. Klaus started to demand that she un-dagger him and she demanded that they listen. We followed her outside where we saw a younger version of Freya who made it literally made it rain birds. My eyes widened and Dahlia told us that firstborn witches of their bloodline possess devastating power and I laughed at this." you realize that I can teach Hope right" I said and Dahlia frowned." I destroyed my school, I burned a library, I flooded the hallways, I set a desk on fire, just because I lost my parents in a car accident"

" Molly-" Klaus warned but I cut him off" Where it would take you years to teach her, it would only months for me. I understand Hope better then you ever will, Dahlia." I snapped and she glared at me her eyes narrowing before she smirked.

" You and I, Molly we are one in the same."

" you'd be surprised how many times I hear that but we are nothing alike. Unlike you, I'm not going to use Hope for my own means, I just want her safe and happy and to have the life I didn't get to have because my parents thought I would kill my own sister because of some curse my ancestor placed my bloodline, I'm going to make sure that she knows her parents where I never even knew who I was. I've had two mothers and three fathers, my life is very confusing right now, so just back off or I will rip out bloody heart and shove it down your throat." Klaus stared at me along with Dahlia and I sighed" man I need Ice cream" I mumbled.

Time Skip

After Dahlia offered Klaus a choice, she helped him un-dagger himself and I sat up to find myself in my room. I growled and got up storming out of the room just in time to see Klaus come walking out of the sitting room. I helped him down the hallway and we stopped hearing Hayley's voice telling Elijah that she was leaving with Hope.

Take me to Dahlia

I looked at Klaus in shock but helped him anyway.
