Chapter 1

Chapter 1-

--Carson's POV-

Listening to my parents blabber on is probably the most annoying thing ever.

Wait..

I should properly introduce myself,

Hi im Carson. Carson McDaniel.

There really isn't anything special about me. Im just like any other London girl. Brown hair and blue eyes. Nothing special there.

Carson..Carson..Carson!

What?! What is that?

"Carson!" My mum says shouting at me.

Oh, just her.

"Did you even here a word I said?!"

"Uhm.. Yeah. I did." I nod.

"Well then answer my question!" She says, sternly looking at me.

Shit.

What question?!

"I.. erm..uh"

"I thought so, now I asked you how long you will be gone?" Mum asks me.

Right now I was explaining to her that Sophie and I, my best friend, want to go to Australia for spring break. My mum is over protective. She wants to know everything we are going to do, from the second we get there, and the second we leave.

I don't get it though! Sophie and I are graduating highschool this coming year. We are both 17. I really don't think I need my mum's permission to go.

But no.

I do.

"Just for a month!" I reply.

"And how on earth are you going to pay for that!?" She says with a surprised look all over her face.

"Sophie and I have jobs you know! And her parents said they would help pay for the hotel," I state, leaning back into the wooden chair rolling my eyes.

Sometimes I think my mum forgets that im not some dumb bimbo working at McDonalds!

"When would you leave?" She asks brushing off the last question.

"Friday," Which is in two days.

My mum sighs, I know she gave in.

"Alright, but you have to text me everynight, Okay?" She says looking up from her book.

"I will!" I rush out.

Time to go tell Sophie.

Australia, get ready for me.

--Friday-

Im awaken by my phones awful vibrating.

Its Sophie.

"Hello?" I groggily answer.

"Carson! Where the hell are you? Im outside!"

"Shit.." I mumble.

"Uhm.. Ill be out in a sec!" With that, I hung up.

I cant believe I forgot to set my alarm.

I quickly hop out of bed, running to my dresser. I pull out some yoga pants, and a sweat shirt.

Eh, no need to dress to impress! Its only the airport!

After putting my clothes on, and throwing my hair into a messy bun, I grab my suit case, and head for the door.

I quickly say goodbye to my mum, and kiss her on the cheek.

I wheel my things along the tile floor, and open the front door.

I spot Sophies car in my driveway, and make my way over. She jumps out of the car, in a similar outfit as mine. Her blond hair up in a high pony tail, and blue eyes shimmering in the morning light.

"Ready?!" She jumps to hug me.

"Ready," I nod.
