Chapter 8/Shocked

Kendra's (POV)

I woke up today not wanting to meet Matt at Wendy's but since i said i would i have to. It was now 5:30 on the dot and am driving to Wendy's. I get their park my car, and get out. I walk into Wendy's admittedly seeing Matthew i didn't feel like eating so i sit down and wait for him to talk. After 5 minutes of seeing him devour his cheeseburger he starts talking.

(NO ONE'S POV)

M-for Matthew

K-for Kendra

M-so

K-soo

M- you're pregnant

I-am not

M-i can't believe you would do this to me (he said raising his voice)

K- but am not pregnant for God sakes (she said raising her tone of voice a little higher than his tone of voice)

M-wait you're not (he said in a whisper)

K- yea am not (she said back in her normal tone of voice)

M- then why would Jesse say that ( he said back in his normal tone of voice)

K- i think that's a question i will let Hailey answer

M- why can't you tell me

K-because it's not my place to tell you

M-fine

Matthew's (POV)

As me and Kendra continued with our conversation i couldn't help but wonder what Kendra and Hailey were keeping from me we never keep secrets. ''Well it's getting pretty late outside better start heading home'' Kendra said distracting me from my thoughts.'' Yea'' i saying getting up, and pushing in my chair. ''Let me walk you to your car'' i say to Kendra.' It's just in the parking park lot'' she says laughing. ''Exactly your lie could change from here to your car''. She looks at me not impressed by my blame joke but laughs anyways by how stupid it is. We get to the car and, I sigh putting my hands in my pocket standing in front of her. ''Well goodbye''she says standing there awkwardly. ''Bye'' i say giving her an awkward hug. She lets go of the hug and says ''hey one more thing why did you get so mad when you thought i was pregnant''. I stand there not knowing what to say have been avoiding this question since i got to Wendy's. Not knowing what to say i grab her face and kiss her. Am gonna lie it was awesome but not how a kiss should feel Kendra was not kissing back. I have always had a crush on her just always tried not to show it. Shit i did such a good job at not showing it she probably thinks i like Hailey instead of her. I was interrupted by my thoughts when Kendra pulled away and jumped in her car. Leaving me their shocked and cold.
