Isobelle's POV

My eyes were glued onto the clock.
I couldn't look away. I've been staring at the clock for the past hour just waiting for the bell to finally ring. But every second that passes by just makes me even more anxious.

"Okay everyone, let's try not to slack off! I want tomorrow's paper on my desk early in the morning!" I'm pulled back from my thoughts when I heard my teachers voice.

I've already finished my paper and I already emailed it to her last night, all I wanted right now was to get out of this classroom.

It was like someone had read my mind and decided it was time to put me out of my misery because just like that, the bell rings and my feet hits the floor in an instant.

I was the first out of the room, earning stares from a few classmates, but I didn't care. To them, I was just in a rush to go home. They didn't know that the true reason was because I wanted to see him.

I reached my locker in an instant. I shoved all my textbooks in my locker and slammed it shut. I didn't really bring a bag with me because I didn't need it.

"You're in a rush to leave."

A groan escapes my mouth when I recognised the voice.

"I am not in a rush Justin." I say indifferently. I didn't feel like being confronted about Sebastian from my ex boyfriend.

I start walking towards the front exits to the parking lot hoping that Justin hadn't followed me, but he had.

"Okay, well how about we go to the mall or something?" He's voice perks up. I remember how when we were dating I was always the one offering to go to places and now that we aren't dating he finally summons up the courage to ask me.

"No, that's okay." I didn't want to tell him I was getting a ride from Sebastian because guessing from the way he acted around Sebastian earlier, he didn't really like him. Which is fine because I don't think Sebastian really likes Justin either.

"Okay, well how about I give you a ride home?" He offers.

"No, I'm okay." I tell him and I can see on his face that he's hurt by my rejection.

We were standing by the main entrance door and I refused to step out just yet. I know that if I step out and it just so happens that Sebastian was there waiting for me in front of his silver Volvo car, Justin would probably start something.

It was funny because a few minutes ago I couldn't wait to get out of school and now I wanted to stay here.

"Well...if you need me, just call I guess." He says but I can hear the anger in his tone of voice as he pushes the doors open and walks out.

I follow after him at a safe distance until he walked over to his car. When he jumped into his car, I was free to scan the parking lot for Sebastian but no one was there.

I was suddenly feeling stupid for actually hoping that he would show up. He was busy man, a freaking CEO! He was probably doing something more important than-

My phone suddenly vibrates in my pocket and I reach for it. I pressed the cold thing onto my ear and a husky voice vibrates from the phone almost enough to warm my ears up.
