Isobelle's POV
I woke up before my alarm clock, which was a first since I usually almost never wake up early.
For the last 30 minutes I've been staring at my ceiling wondering whether or not yesterday really happened. I think I actually convinced myself at one point, until I looked at my phone to check if his contact number was still there...which it was, only proving how real yesterday really was.
I forced myself out of the bed and made my way to the bathroom to quickly get ready. There was no sense in reliving yesterday as if I could go back in time and stay there forever.
I quickly got changed and grabbed my things before heading downstairs and finding my mom on the kitchen counter drinking coffee.
"Morning honey, don't forget your paper." She smiles as she sips on her coffee.
"Morning mom."
"Come here and have breakfast with me." My mom invites me but for some reason I didn't feel very hungry.
"No thanks mom, I'm gonna head out now." I tell her before I grab the slip of paper on the desk and head towards the doors. It's not that I was eager to go to school, it's just that I didn't want to take any chances on my mom asking any questions about Sebastian that I didn't know how to answer.
When I arrived at school, I avoided going to my locker afraid that Justin would show up and confront me about Sebastian. I just wanted to get through the day.
I headed for my first class gladly knowing that Justin wasn't going to be there. As I sat in my chair waiting for the clock to tick faster I found myself checking my phone once and a while.
A voice inside me mocks me knowing that the reason why I'm staring at my phone isn't because I'm watching for the time but because I'm waiting for something that will probably never happen, and yet here I am hoping!
Why am I doing this to myself? I know he won't call, let alone text.
I groan in frustration with myself.
"Don't forget! Those of you that are in Mrs Rachel's class need to head to the parking lot where the busses are going to be waiting. Don't forget your permission slip. And before you ask, yes you will be back before lunch." Mr Francis announces.
Just then the bell rings and I quickly gather my things heading to my locker. I was the first one out of the room which gave me the chance of getting to my locker before he showed up.
Just as I was about to close my locker after shoving everything in, Claire walks up to me. I quickly grab her by the arm and avert her direction the other way around away from my locker.
"Well good morning to you too!" She greets.
"Sorry..." I apologise.
"Are you going to the blood drive now or tomorrow?" She asks distracting me from my thoughts.
"Now, I'm headed to the parking lot right now." I explain to her.
She groans rolling her eyes. "Great, ugh! I was hoping to get some free girl time on the bus with you, I'm going tomorrow."
The bell rings and we say our goodbyes as I exit the school and head for the parking lot.
"Wait, Belle!" I turned around and was met with a leather jacket wearing guy. It was Marcus.
