Aphmau's POV
I was playing with my dad's diamond sword this morning practicing against a training dummy waiting for my mom to cook the Potatoes and Bread for breakfast. I heard the sound of a Wyvern. It's probably Armin bringing a message.  He is our Wyvern messanger. Wyverns are pretty rare so we try our best to keep him a secret. I was putting my blocks together to make a square. Armin flew inside the house through the attic window and landed on the kitchen counter.
He gave my father a letter and jumped up and down telling him it wasn't good. My father read it over and over in fear and disbelief
trying to make sure he just misread something. My mother walked over and asked
"Darling what's wrong?😧"
My father started tearing up.
"They're coming Rebecca. And they want our daughter." He replied
"W-w-what? This can't be true Sebastian! They can't just take her AWAY FROM US!!!!" My mom said in anger and fear.
My husky dog, Thorgi and big brother, Andrew walked into the room. "Mom? Are you ok? I was walking
Thorgi outside so I don't know whats going on." He asked.
"I'm sorry Andrew. You are loosing your sister." My dad said with tears in his eyes.
"You mean? They are coming? Andrew said starting cry as well.
My parents nodded.
My dad told me we were playing a game and told me too climb the treehouse we made out in the forest next to the house.
My mom yelled "NOOO! Aphmau! STAY HERE WITH ME AND YOUR FATHER! WE CAN PROTECT YOU!" I ran back amd asked why my mom was crying. It seemed as if she has given up on trying too make me stay. She gave me a pretty looking stone that glowed when I wore it.
"Thank you Mommy! I LOOOVE YOOUU! And see you later for dinner." I said still thinking we were playing a game.
I ran into the trees and climbed up the treehouse with my adventure bag mom gave me filled with supplies. I stayed up in the tree for a little bit and heard some commotion at my house I looked down through the window and saw a swarm of guards invade my house. I saw my mother in the window being attacked by a guard and he swung his sword at her legs. She screeched in pain as her skin and veins got sliced in half. Thorgi got angry and attacked him. He pushed him off to the side trying not to hurt him. Thorgi kept my family at bay but the guards have had enough. He picked Thorgi up and put him outside. and I closed my eyes and cried waterfalls of tears for hours and hours thinking about how stupid the guards were for cutting off my families legs. Dont they know how much blood they will loose? If they wanted to kill them wouldn't they do it all at once like the murdereres they are? What am I talking about? Who cares what they did my family is gone!!!! I thought crying even more. I heard a bark. I looked down the treehouse and
saw Thorgi at the bottom of the ladder.
"T-Thorgi? Are Mommy,Daddy, and Andrew Ok?" Aphmau asked sniffling.
Thorgi whimpered.
Oh no I thought.
I climbed down the tree and walked into the house. Blood was everywhere and limbs were all over the floor. Even the pillows on the couch got saturated with blood.
Tears streamed down my face.
I cleared my throat and ran through the house to find supplies. I took all the food in the kitchen and stuffed it in my bag. I went in too my room and grabbed all the clothes I would possibly need. I took some steak for Thorgi. I put my backpack on and it was really heavy. I dropped it back on the ground in frustration.
"Ughh why has everything gone wrong today. First my family gets practically killed and now I can't even carry a backpack filled with supplies for survival?!?"
I pointed towards it with both hands angrily because it was so heavy. I suddenly felt a pulse of energy go through my hands. The bag became surrounded by magic and started to float. I stepped back shocked at what I did. As I stepped back the bag followed me floating through the air. Me and Thorgi exchanged glances of amazement.
I then tried to do it to Thorgi. It worked! I then put Thorgi back down and let the bag float behind me. Thorgi and I walked through the woods and stood a little taller that day. Knowing my magic power could protect us and help save our family.
