Brother's Best Friend

Shopping

I sit on the couch watching cartoons, while the boys eat breakfast. I run upstairs and get dressed. When I walk downstairs the boys were on the couch.

"Hey I'm going to the store, do you guys need anything?" I ask.

"Pizza..beer..pop-tarts..waffles.." The boys all yell at me.

I laugh, "So basically the whole store".

"Give me 5 minutes, I'll get ready and then go with you to help" Kells smiles.

I smile and yell, "I'll be in the car."

I jump into my jeep and blast music. I hear the passenger door open and Kells jumps in. We smile at each other and I drive off. I scan the street for a store, eventually I find one and park.

"Lets go!" Kells laughs and jumps out.

I smile, and we walk into the store, I grab a cart. Before I could get far Kells jumps into the cart.

"Kells what are you doing? You're a grown man....and least I think" I giggle.

"Oh trust me I'm a man" He winks, making me blush. "Just push...please" Kells smiles.

I shake my head and start pushing the cart. And let me tell you we got some weird looks. As we walk down the isles Kells grab basically anything that looked good. Eventually tons of food was stack on his long legs. Once we got we got all we need, and things we didn't; we went to checkout. 

"Kells be careful getting out." I grab his arm as he tries to gingerly get out.

"I got it," He laughs and climbs out. I hold still hold onto his arm even though he was out.

My hand slides down his arm, and I interlock my fingers with his. He smiles and pays for the groceries. We walk hand in hand to our car and pack all of our food into the back. Still holding my hand tight he walks me to the drivers side. 

"You know you'll have to let go of my hand for me to get in." I giggle.

"I don't want to. I like this." He smiles and lets go. Quickly he gets into the passengers side. Once he sits down he slips his hand into mine

"You're needy" I smile.

"Just for you." He responds quietly.

As we pull into the driveway, we just sit there listening to music. I lay my head on his shoulder. 

"Kenna...I want to tell you." I cut him off by hurrying and jumping out.

He looks at me confused until he sees the boys walking towards the car. Then he gets out as well. The boys help us unpack and we all sit down to watch a movie. The whole time I was thinking about what Kells was going to say; and how good the days been so far.
