Brother's Best Friend

The Deal

As we go to walk out we get stopped by a few boys who we raced against.

"Hey I don't think I've every seen a girl race like that" One of the boys said.

"Yeah you better keep her man" Another says to Kells.

"Or if he every lets you go. Here" The third boy says as he hands me his number.

"Don't worry I won't...ever." Kells takes the number and jams it into his pocket.

"Oh protective much Kells, and we are not even together." I laugh.

He smiles. "Not yet"

I laugh as we walk to the car together. As we drive home we listen to music.

"Hey Kells. What are we going to do about Rook? He will kill you if he found out. He won't let a boy touch me because of Braxton." I sigh

"Well he doesn't have to know. Does he?" Kells smirks.

"So you are saying we should lie to my only family member I have left." I question.

"Well if you put it that way, I seem like a douche." He laughs.

"We'll your not, and I'm up for it. I just don't want him hurt" I say softly.

"Don't worry it'll all work out. Deal?" Kells smiles as we pull in.

"Deal"I kiss his cheek and jump out of my jeep
