Scotty didn't say a word during the whole car ride home. Meanwhile, his brother started blaring the radio of their father's brand new Mazda RX-7.

"Please stop crying, Junior," the father said. "We didn't leave you behind. Your brother just went over to the prize corner and I had to help the new guy get into his suit."

Still, Scotty remained silent.

"If you were wondering why Mike, the guy in the Fredbear suit, was following you, it's because he needed to get on stage for his performance."

Still no word.

"Chill out, crybaby," Mark said, grabbing Scotty's shoulder. "You need to stop crying over every little thing that happens to you."

Scotty pushed his hand away.

"Fine. I guess you'll be known as nothing but the crying child from now on."

Mary, why did you have to go? This is when you would always help me and make me feel better.

When they got home, Scotty walked straight into his room. He hugged his Fredbear tightly as he talked to it.

"You're the only one who cares about me anymore. It's almost like Mary is living through you."

"One day, it will all make sense," it replied.

"What do you mean?"

There was no response. Scotty continued crying.

"No one loves me anymore. Mary was the one person who did, and she's gone. What am I going to do?"

"Your mother loved you," it said in response. "More than you could ever imagine."

"She didn't even know me."

"Oh, but she did. She didn't pass immediately after birth. She stayed around long enough to hold you once. She told you how much she loved you and that she knew you would grow up to do great things."

"It doesn't matter anyway, because she's gone, too. No one in this house loves me."

There was no response.

Scotty lay there, hugging his bear for hours. He didn't want to let go of the only one who cared about him in this world. Scotty knew he was just a stuffed animal, but he was still his friend.

Later, Scotty decided to go look for Plushtrap so he could get rid of it. He didn't want Mark bullying him with it again. So, Scotty headed up toward Mark's room. He put his ear up to the door to see if Mark was inside, but he couldn't hear anything, so he turned the handle. Unfortunately, the door was locked.
