                                              There are two reasons as to why Let Him Go was written.
                          First reason being, there is a point in the first chapter in which one of the team members, Lukas, tries to leave the shelter and you can stop him from leaving or let him leave. If there was a middle option, this would be it. (I Think.)
                          Second reason is because I am trash for Minecraft: Story Mode and I intensely ship Female Jesse and Lukas and I should be ashamed. But I'm not.
