At 7:30 PM, i'm putting on my loafers, black slacks, black silk shirt and a black blazer to look very elegant for the elegant dinner tonight, i put on a belt to make sure that my pants don't fall, then when i'm done getting prepared i head over to abby's stateroom. i knock on the door and 10 seconds later, She opens the door and i see her decked out in a cream colored woven crop cami, short sleeved jacket and wide leg pants with silver sandals. On her neck is a multicolored necklace.
"Wow, look at you in black!" Abby complimented my suit. "Are you trying to impress someone?"
"I'm just decked out in my suit and you look beautiful Abby." I complimented.
"Thank you." Abby said. "Ready to meet up with everyone else?"
"I'm ready, willing and able." I responded as we walk down the hallway to the atrium. "I'll pay for dinner." I then offer.
"You're so generous." Abby smiled
Meanwhile everybody else is waiting for Me and Abby to come in. The girls and the moms are in different colored evening gowns, Nick and Brandon are in similar suits that i'm wearing, Nick's tie is blue and Brandon's tie is brown.
"I see Jamaal and Miss Abby." Nia said, pointing to us walking in and heading towards them.
"All right everbody, tonight is elegant dinner night and we have to be on our best behavior or somebody's gonna get put at the bottom of the pyramid, got it?" Abby growled as the girls meekly nodded as we headed to the Southern Lights Dining Room.
We enter the Dining Room and it is a sight to behold, the ceiling is brown with small lights, chandeliers in a green hue, two levels of dining, circular tables with silverware, glasses and chairs, the walls are painted light brown with blue wiggling stripes, Everyone who is in there are decked out in their elegant best as the waiter comes to us.
"Hello there, how may i--- wait just a minute, aren't the famous Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms?" The waiter looked at her.
"Yes, that's me." Abby had a smile on her face.
"Your dancers are fabulous, they're better than those candy apple morons." He said. "Can you introduce me to them?"
"Yes, This is Maddie Ziegler, her younger sister Mackenzie, that's their mother Melissa, This is Nia Frazier and her mother Holly, This is Brooke Hyland, her sister Paige and their mother Kelly, This is Kendall Vertes and her mother Jill, These are Nick Dobbs and Brandon Pent and Last but not least this is Chloe Lukasiak and her mother Christi."
"Nice to meet you guys." He responded.
"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Waiter." The girls respond.
"Oh, i almost forgot, This is my very good friend from Chicago, Jamaal." Abby introduced me as i shook his hand.
"Pleasure to meet you." i said.
"Pleasure's all mine, I've got two tables for you guys, one for the kids and the other one for adults." He then said as we walked to the two empty tables, the kids sit down at the right table with Nine chairs and I'm sitting on the left table with the adults waiting for the waiter to come back to take our orders, Abby is sitting next to me.
"Wait, abby really bent over when she asked you to paddle her?" I asked as Holly told the story about the time Abby asked her to paddle her butt at a dance competition.
"Yes she did and that was a sight i did not want to see when she did that." Holly gagged at the memory.
"We could've been like "Abby's got a big ol butt, say what?"" Jill whispered to Christi as they then laughed, but their laughter stopped when Abby shot a glare at them.
"We're just joking!" Kelly said then i look over at Abby
"Abby?"
"Yes?" she responded.
"How do you put up with those crazy mothers?" i whispered in a sotto voice, so the Moms can't hear our conversation.
"It's a miracle that i haven't tossed one of them out yet." Then all of a sudden a song begins to play over the P.A. System and the first line is "Oppa Gangnam Style." the waiters are starting to dance and i begin to nod my head to the new song that we're hearing. Then all of a sudden i begin start dancing and doing the same steps the crew is doing.
"Legs straight! Feet Pointed!" Abby shouted as i am doing the dance and everyone in the diner is amazed at how i'm dancing and when the music stops i do a perfect split which causes loud cheers and i take a bow and sit back down, 6 minutes later the waiter comes back to take our order.
"That was impressive dancing there, sir." He said as he came to our table. "What would you all like?"
"I'll have the Grilled Flat iron steak, well done." I stated.
"I'll go for the Indian Vegetarian" Abby said.
"I'll order the Wild Mushroom Cream Soup" Melissa said.
"I'll have the Lasagna bolognese" Jill said.
"I'll have Shrimp and Fries" Christi added.
"I'll have Chicken Noodle Soup." Holly said
"I want the vine ripe beefsteak tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, please" Kelly said as the waiter wrote down our orders.
"You got it." Then he goes over to the kids table.

Mackenzie: Slice of Pepperoni Pizza
Chloe: Fresh Veggies
Kendall: Macaroni & Cheese
Paige: Hamburger
Brooke: Cheeseburger
Nia: Chicken Strips
Brandon: French Fries
Nick: Hot Dog
20 Minutes later, the waiter comes back with our food and after we say grace, i put the napkin on my lap and then we begin to eat. I'm chewing my food with my mouth closed and Abby checks on the kids and they're eating very maturely, which gets them a thumbs up from the dance teacher, the moms are eating with very good manners and after we're done eating and i pay the bill, we then clean up after ourselves, we then leave after we're done. The kids head to their staterooms to relax and sleep, the moms head to a bar while Abby and i go to serenity and we lay in two of the deck chairs.
"You were right, This is a nice change from dealing with the moms and correcting the kids." Abby said to me.
"I told you that you needed to relieve the stress and the serenity was perfect to get away." I responded. "
"You know, abby. The candy apples doesn't have anything on the ALDC."
"That's right and also there's no crying in dancing." Abby then stated.
"Those girls have to suck it up and do what you tell them." i respond. Then Abby is telling me the story about Maddie forgetting her dance at Starbound and it made her cry and the other moms confronted her about it because they said she didn't cry when the other girls did that. She also told me about her dog, Broadway Baby. Abby told me about the early days when the Abby Lee Dance Company was formed and how many dancers went on to Broadway.
We talked until around 12:30 AM as we decide to head back to our staterooms to turn in for the night.
